Branded does well with Dragoon, however, it’s a bit more worth to have a copy of Dark Magician in the main instead of Hex-Sealed Fusion. Why? It’s a valid Fusion Deployment target, grants you the bonus pop effect to burn, and the Dark Magician later becomes fuel for any other plays.

yea, i usually ran like a 4-5 card branded deck with my DM deck but when i switched to YGO I've been running a white forest DM and I actually sub out albaz with a muddy muddragon to make lubelion, pop out dragoon, and hopefully make chaos angel if I have a level 2 wf leftover. Both Chaos angel and Dragoon now cant be destroyed by card effects or battle and I may have banished and destroyed a couple of major set piece or two with burn with a 3500 and 4000 beatstick sitting there.

Because if you use branded fusion to summon Albion branded you can’t use dark magician as it requires a light monster. This means you can’t use the branded fusion combo line to summon dark dragoon if you have dark magician in your deck instead and is prob why dragoon isn’t ran in branded decks.
