Not a bad ideaa. It's a lot of work. It's much easier to turn the cable into a usb extension than soldering on the usb-c pads.

@@IONHowTo i have no idea whatsoever is broken on it. Whether its either of the usb-c or the cable. Making an extension could be a solution if i can verify its the plugs that are not working
