Yeah, none of the makeovers besides Pixie’s were truly *horrible*, and given what we saw on the design challenge, Copper can have some styling issues. So I wouldn’t be surprised for her to be bottom 2, even if her makeover look in a vacuum was good.

In defense of Dakota's first look: it was representing Anne Boleyn and had nothing to do with being a nun. The lingerie aspect at the bottom is a reference to Anne Boleyn's stereotypical reputation of being a seductress which led to Henry VIII divorcing his first wife to marry her and moving England away from Catholicism to allow it. It looked quite simple and small but at least there was meaning to every part of her look, rather than her just taking an image of her and recreating it exactly (as other queens did).

This is evidential proof that producers just hated Copper. She would've made the final if she hadn't been thrown in the bottom week 3. She can sing, dance, act, do improv, she's in a sort of girl group (the Saturgays, they lipsync but use hairbrushes as microphones which is fun, anyway beyond my point) like I reckon production thought she'd be a rival to Danny, but cos Danny and pixie were forming a friendship, they thought "ooh, storyline" and cos they didn't want copper doing improv, acting or rusicals cos they knew she'd rival production fave Danny (tho Danny did slay I'm not taking that away from them in any way) and that copper wouldn't faulter in any other challenge other than design, and jonbers was heavily favoured by Ru keeping her out the bottom that week, copper was a casualty of both those factors.

The video was cool and the back and worth between you and Matthew was really nice, but I gotta say something. I’m really tolerant with opinions because I know everybody’s got preferences, but honestly, to me, everyone who really thinks that Peppa and Jonbers were not the worst team in the design challenge lives in total denial. Peppa’s look was falling apart to the point that almost her entire chest was exposed and the rest of the outfit was also not well made. Jonbers was definitely better, but also hers lacked the execution. Yes, Pixie and Danny’s looks were boring and yes Cheddar totally outshined Copper, but Peppa and Jonbers bombed. Saying that they shouldn’t have been the bottom two kinda showcases the skinny fashion queen privilege for me. This is really nothing against Matthew, but I just had to say it.

Well, I’ll just say this was interesting :) I made my own version of this as I usually do, so I’ll share. Episode 1: I still have Black Peppa winning but I nearly gave Sminty Drop the win (I thought her BBC look was the best of the night, but for me the Ru are you look is the more important one, and I preferred Peppa in that category. I put Cheddar Gorgeous as high, I thought both of her looks were very unique, and showed us who she is and the transformations between her looks. For the bottom, I had Just May and Pixie Polite in the bottom 2, with Dakota Schiffer as low. For me, Pixie didn’t do that bad but I think compared to everyone apart from May, she was the weakest. But the lipsync result is the same, Just May still goes home first. Episode 2: Originally I kept it as 2 teams, but I think splitting it into 3 makes more sense now. If we’re judging by teams, Cheddar, Dakota, Danny and Le Fil all win, but individually it would be Baby, I think in this case, judging individually is fairer. For the bottom 3, it’s the same queens but I actually saved Jonbers and put Sminty in the bottom with Starlet. I think Sminty to me struggled more with the performance as a whole, whilst Jonbers only struggled with her words. But either way, Starlet is going home so not much changes. Episode 3: I gave the win to Sminty and Le Fil here, for me they had the most cohesive looks, which were different enough from each other but still looked like they were from the same fashion line. Baby and Dakota will definitely be high though. Cheddar and Copper will be safe, I think overall, whilst Copper had a couple of issues, it wasn’t bad enough to warrant a bottom placement for me. Danny and Pixie are going to be low, so Jonbers and Peppa are in the bottom. I think this would be a pretty close lipsync, but Jonbers would go home. Episode 4: Danny wins here, but I almost gave a double win to her and Pixie. Cheddar is still in the top for me, I think between her, Copper and Dakota I think Cheddar would still do the best, but by a very small margin, Copper could easily be in the top too. The bottom 3 is the same as the original season, Le Fil is low, Baby and Sminty lipsync, Sminty is sent home. Episode 5: I also thought this episode had no business having a bottom 2, so I had a top 2 of Danny and Le Fil, with Cheddar, Copper and Pixie as high. Everyone else is safe, and I don’t think Baby would actually quit here, so we move into snatch game with 8 queens left. Episode 6: Cheddar is definitely winning, to me she was the only one who actually made me laugh besides Dakota, who’s going to be in the top with Copper. I put Danny as safe along with Pixie, I think Baby would be low, Le Fil and Peppa would lipsync, but I think at this point Baby would quit, since she nearly lipsynced again I think here is the point where she would realise she needs to take care of herself. But if she didn’t I actually would have sent Peppa home, I think in that lipsync, she was doing wayyy too much, whilst Le Fil, even though they were a bit messy, matched the energy of the song way better. Episode 7: Cheddar is still winning the makeover, Danny would be in the top along with Le Fil. I originally put Copper in the bottom here but after seeing her actual look, she’s definitely safe for me. Pixie is in the bottom regardless, and I had a really tough time choosing between Dakota and Peppa. I think even though I personally didn’t like Dakota’s makeover, there were more issues with Peppa’s, so in this scenario, Black Peppa goes home. Episode 8: I was torn between Cheddar and Danny originally, but I actually think Copper could win here, so she will get her first win. Cheddar and Danny are high, I honestly thought Cheddar did really well I don’t get the hate for her performance at all. Le Fil would be safe I think, since they don’t have to improvise here, I think they would do ok. This leaves Dakota and Pixie in the bottom, and to this song, I think Pixie would put up a good fight, but Dakota would win, and Pixie sashays away. Episode 9: Danny is definitely winning the roast, but I had no idea where to go from here. Copper I think would be high, and Dakota would be in the bottom. Between Cheddar and Le Fil, I think even though Cheddar’s humour is more my style, it doesn’t go very well in a roast, whilst I think Le Fil could definitely get a few laughs. So Cheddar lipsyncs with Dakota, and with this song, this is much more in Cheddar’s wheelhouse, I think Dakota would honestly flop this song pretty hard, and would go home before the finale. Finale: Personally I think having a top 2 was wrong, they should have done what they did on uk 2 and have a top 3, which is what I’ll do. I think Le Fil would sadly be cut, since they only had one win and it was shared (even though she had the best look of that whole episode). This means Cheddar, Copper and Danny all lipsync for the crown, but I don’t see any situation where Danny wouldn’t win, she was absolutely deserving of the crown, and she dominated pretty much the whole competition. Even though I was team Cheddar I was so happy to see Danny Beard win. So my version was probably very different to a lot of people’s out there, hope you all enjoyed though :)

i def think danny ate the whole competition and deserved to win i just was genuinely surprised they didn’t give it to cheddar in the end knowing how they’ve picked winners in the past and the common stereotype of “filling different roles” of queens in the hall of fame. the uk is known for their comedy queens and they showed that the uk can also have glamor and fashion with krystal’s win so i really was surprised that they didn’t jump at the opportunity to have the more alien-like character like cheddar in the hall of fame. not to mention how cheddar was getting the “legend edit” basically the whole season, making it seem like they were setting her up for a long-time-coming crown. honestly if it weren’t for the fact that danny being a bearded queen was seen as such a big new thing on drag race i don’t think production would’ve actually given her the crown (like she obviously showed she deserves!!) but now we have a bearded queen in the hall of fame !! kinda crazy when u think about it tbh

The talk about Copper’s makeover look got me thinking…. so I understand the fact that queens need to have, and showcase, their ‘brand’ but I also kinda hate when queens get critiqued in a good look merely because people don’t think it suits their typical drag aesthetic… I think queens should be able to branch out and have vividly different looks & take elements from different drag aesthetics however they please without being pigeonholed into one aesthetic and being penalised if they stray from what everyone has come to expect from them. I know if I did drag- I wouldn’t necessarily want to just commit to one drag aesthetic. Great video though you guys should do more videos together! ❤️

I think you guys are downplaying Cheddar in the improv, no she wasn't as funny as Danny and Pixie but she was also basically carrying the scene helping them shine. She deserved her top spot. I also don't know how she could have done better in the acting challenge, the character wasn't funny but she did the best with what she had. I mean I thought she, Pixie and Danny all did great in that challenge. I do agree about Copper though, her elim was nonsense and she may well have slayed the next few challenges. So unfair.

Omg I thought I was the only delusional Copper stan who thought she's the real robbed queen of the season... Okay I'm just gonna but on my tinfoil Thorgy hat: Copper was pretty much edited out of the season to the point where you'd continously forget she was even there. They instantly threw 2 look challenges at her and cut her, even though she was nowhere near the worst. Why give a win in teams, but then pick and choose the bottom? They literally went out of their way to put Copper in the bottom, despite Jonbers looking way worse and Cheddar looking great enough to put her and Copper safe at least. My theory: production knew full well that Copper would destroy the comedy and acting challenges. Copper definitely could have been a contender for improv, snatch game, acting and the roast and honestly? Production just didn't care for her. Danny was definitely intended as a potential winner and rightfully so, Danny could have won like half the challenges and it would have been fair. Cheddar was intended as a potential winner and again, we saw that she more than deserved that spot. Peppa was definitely cast as a potential winner as well, but unfortunately she just didn't deliver quite as well.. But what if they had actually kept Copper? Would they want to risk her being an actual threat and threaten the envisioned top3? Better they just keep Jonbers cause while she's an absolute delight and had a massive glow-up, she definitely had 0 chance of winning. Call me delusional, but Copper could have been a contender, had production allowed her to be.
