I too prefer 2x the intake for my designs. Though IDK if I see 1.8% slope needed to meet the manufacture's suggested install requirements for 6 inch corrugated. I kinda want to see the slope-profile as in 2018 USGS scanned all of our properties & the data is online for free, it's not totally inaccurate. I need a YT channel that shows accurate site-plans using the rational-method for calculating water-volume. The saddest part about YT drainage videos of 2024 is that OSSFs require comprehensive drainage plans but when you order copies of the permits you'll see that my State has ignored health-&-safety drainage needs for decades. Basically OSSF sewage-disposal-areas require oxygen in the soil but nobody is doing the work to get it done, especially on land that has less than 2% slope. Typhoid in these effluent ponded lawns might be the next pandemic & it spreads on roaches & flies.

Maybe I'll make a video sometime explaining how we approach sizing our systems with practicality and aesthetics in mind for typical residential settings. Thanks for the comment sir.

@@High-Flow-Drainage-Solutions The new Floodplain rules require 2D modeling. My city sells the LIDAR data that they refresh every two years. Drainage Solutions should be getting more advanced. I honestly am only learning it b/c my Floodplain Admin has destroyed out Floodway & needs to be Fined by FEMA for violating NFIP & ignoring the EPA's health & safety requirements.
