Everyone does things their own way. I would have cleaned up the trough drains first to get the chunky stuff out and then gone on to jet the lines. If you don't want to toss the gunk into the trash, you could scoop it up into a bucket and then dump it in the trap. That would save reclogging the line numerous times. I do this for a bunch of horse farms. The trough drains in the wash stalls get full of sand and equine processed hay. I've built a scoop that fits the trough nicely and I just remove the grates and crossbars, scoop from one end to the other and then jet the lines. All the sand and gunk gets scooped into a wheelbarrow. When I'm done it goes to the used bedding pile and from there to the landfill.

You sure know how to make a mess! Spraying all that water and splashing all that grease around before unclogging the drain is nuts! Where is the declogging? Can't you bag up a lot of the solid grease and dispose of in the garbage? And why isn't anyone doing a regular cleanout of the channel drain? You are fun to watch. You should checkout the Drain Addict or Penetrator.

Bruce old mate, you have a great show. However I think it would be a wonderful step forward if you included a little opera now and again. Like you could probably write an opera or two about all the grease traps you fixed. If a barber[of Seville] can look at what a plumber could do. How would you be if it really took off and you have to go on stage in those very tight tights. You would slay them mate. "Bruce, The plumber of Seville gets twenty curtain calls and a bunch of roses". Can't wait Pal.
@BryanO928 ай бұрын
Mate, this is a criminally underappreciated entry in your oeuvre. If you were Crowded House, this would probably be Together Alone. It's easy to like Don't Dream It's Over, but a true aficionado can appreciate the deeper cuts. Or not, what do I know?

I have to wonder with a drain so clogged with grease would it not be more efficient to move the existing obvious large solider chunks to the grease trap manually rather than keep unblocking the drain every time one of the manages to get stuck?
