I bought a house in 1988. It actually had one piece bath. I went down to the laundry room and lo and behold. There was a urinal hanging off the wall. And it was functional. One time we had a family get together and with only one bathroom, my son couldn’t get near the toilet. When I found him down in the basement, he got himself up and was sitting in the urinal using it as a toilet. I will never forget that as long as I live. He is now 37.

G'day from Alberta! My grandparents had four boys, so they have some fantastic bathrooms in their house. Two of them had urinals in them and one had a standalone bidet that for the longest time, all the grandkids thought was for washing your feet or some other nonsense. They never bothered to set the record straight.
