This Drain was HARD WORK to Clear 💩 Blocked Drain 93

Now this took some persistence to clear! This is one of those blocked drains which doesn't normally make it to KZbin as I'm generally too frustrated about the job to record.
This blocked drain was recorded in Edgewater, Western Australia.

I also enjoy the residential jobs, so keep them coming. I also enjoying seeing the differences in plumbing in different parts of the world. For example, we couldn't have overflow relief gullies where I live, because they would freeze up in winter. Old steel pipe is troublesome. Often it gets so corroded that there is only a small space (like the size of a coin) for the water to pass through.

I think the residential jobs are nice to watch too. I have pulled my own hair from the blocked floor drain many times and it's interesting to hear what kind of things I should consider or avoid in the future with my drains. There is a whole other world under our floortiles in our homes and most of us have no idea what is happening there! PS. A tripod for your phone could be a good option?

Hearing that gurgling sound from the drain is familiar. A few years ago we had some, as you'd put it, 'chocka blocked' drains in the upstairs bathroom. The cause? Clump of hair and a facecloth. We're certain the cloth had been there since before we bought the house. Ever since that was removed the drains have been clear and we've been pouring cleaner down it every so often to keep it that way.

Ahhh hair in the drain. When I used to work for bc ferries we lived onboard for two weeks at a time. I was the cleaner and had to clean the shower and sink drains. Bloody hell 😂. Pretty gross sometimes. Good job Bruce. Cheers

I enjoy the different variety of jobs that are shown. Plumbing is more than just jetting a tube. Plus showing the difficulty of the job is beneficial as I don't feel ppl understand how much work goes into making sure your waste water is properly removed.
