Drake was completely lost on me after the Take Care Album. My sister and cousin had me listening to The Weekend long before he had ever been on tour with Drake. So when I heard the Take Care album, I said to them, “This sounds like that guy y’all have me listening to.” At the time I called him Wednesday 😆. Then years later, You find out Drake, BULLIED The Weekend, out of his VERY OWN songs. Point is, to me, he never was the rapper/musician folks thought he was. He never stood a chance against Kendric. Drake won’t come out with a song better than these 2 wack ones because he just can’t🤭. He’s only ever won a rap battle against Meek Mills & that was with the help of Sarena Williams. Him or his team has no clue. In the lyrics of Kendric Lamar, “I like Drake with the Melodies I don’t like Drake when he act tough.” “Cut throat business you got shit twisted. What is it the braids!” 😂 “Keep making me dance, waving my hand & it won’t be no threat.” Whooping 👣. 😁😂. Kendric did some of Drake’s own strategy & Pop style rap, better than Drake himself.
