I seriously cannot get over this AMV trailer; it's too damn good. I'm pretty sure it's not healthy to have watched it so many times, even though I found it right after I finished watching Fate/Zero haha. Everything from the scenes and the dialogue lines selected, to the order in which they are presented, to the music is absolutely and 100% representative of what the show is all about and the feelings and emotions it conveys. This AMV is part of the reason I'm currently playing through the Fate/Stay Night visual novel; I just HAD to continue to watch things unraveling in the Fate universe (without resorting to the allegedly mediocre Fate/Stay Night anime), and this video inspired me to do so. All trailers for everything should be like this.

Fate/Stay Night is an awesome show as well. It's less gory/violent, which is why I think people say it's not as good. It also was first, so.......Fate/Zero actually makes better sense if you watch F/SN. There's more feeling instead of shock value in F/SN as well. I love both series and will watch them repeatedly in my life I'm sure.

If people must know, I like Zero more. I prefer Zero because I think it has better characters. Zero was less plot focused, and stuck very true to its premise without really any twists until the finale. Everything had to progress through character interaction, and that's more attractive to me in terms of a narrative. Plus, Zero was much more seinen compared to SN, which harbors many more shounen elements. immasmashyourface​ To address your comment, I've most often seen people calling F/sn less mature than Zero. I disagree with that because F/sn is about Shirou reaching that point, not already being in it. However that message isn't communicated as well without the visual novel. That theme of growth represents how the routes were ordered, and I believe that experience is what F/sn is truly about. I really don't like any of the routes individually, but I think F/sn makes a fine product as a whole. I got much more feels from Zero as well because I spent time with all the characters before shit hit the fan. In F/sn, if you can't see Shirou's perspective, you're kinda screwed in getting attached, and then his actions only result in making people angry because of how naive some people consider him. Those are the two most common reasons I believe why people wouldn't like F/sn as much.

This was exactly the trailer that made me go and watch Fate/Zero. Back then I watch no anime until a friend shared this video to me. A lot of things have changed since that moment. I was quite sad when I found that this video was deleted by youtube, protecting copyright is definitely the right thing to do, but sometimes it's really annoying. :P

So I am relatively new to fate but this made me love the series cause it encapsulates the feeling of the series, I just get chills right when caster is going on his rant, mixed with the editing makes it far more impactful than even the show at points

Saw this one about a year back, I enjoyed it but I'm not entirely sure what you will think of it. There were a few parts that confused me but it's actually a prequel to fate/stay night, a series I am yet to see, and from what I understand things make more sense if you've seen that one first, despite this being the prequel. I just loved the look on my brothers face when I guessed the identity of Berserker based off of a single image in the credits.

Greg Malbraaten I know someone who guessed who he was too. I guess it's not too tough for history buffs. Bruce Burns Fate/stay night has a currently airing remake, so most people will tell you to screw the old 2006 version for being inferior to Zero and watch the remake. Only 2 episodes at the time of this comment, and it has not disappointed. Watch them in whatever order you wish. I watched Zero first and had no problems, but I suggest you stay open minded if going from Zero to SN as I know I was wrong about a few loose ends myself.

Thank you. The one or two comments I get every few years really mean a lot to me. It makes me think about how fun AMVs were and the projects I never finished. At least film editing became a part of my career. It’s b-roll editing for news broadcasts, which isn’t nearly as extensive or interesting, but at least I did something with it.
