Interesting your choice for G. Silver Blue Blade. I find better success(or more efficient, fewer passes) using a SHARP AND usually fresh d. e. blade for headshaves; and Gill. Silver Blue seems to be very sharp.

Jimi, yes! "Schmeere" is the word I grew up with. And yes, you gotta schmeere that cream cheese on the bagel.:) Man, now I'm hungry for one! Nothing better with a cup of coffee! :):)

How do you know the approach angle for the razor that accurately?

ANOITHER way to rinse your head after the shave is point your head over the sink, wipe with wetted hands a couple of times, from then head is probably well rinsed enough; and then just dry your head using a towel. Everybody will find their own ways of rinsing the head after a headshave.
