I have heard some artist use 3d for BG but I never tried it out myself. would you make a video about this whole process?
@nero-kun5992 Жыл бұрын
Because of this I tried watching tutorials and followed it, it took me 3 hours to make a damned drawer. I mean it is hard but it will take a matter of time to get used to it, I'll do daily practice and studying from now on I do really wanna make an art of this level!

You need fairly enough good 3d knowledge to make use of 2d + 3d workflow

Do note that backgrounds depend on one art style others just use reference to draw theirs and they don’t make it too detailed but have an aspect of painty feel to it.

I'm curious about how you studied the drawing. I'm also curious about how many days it took you to draw this piece!I'm amazed every time I see it🥰🥰

Every small detail that seems insignificant in the grand scheme of things adds to the illustration polish, to have the patience to craft everything in 3d and everything else, I tip my hat to you, cuz I can't do the same thing you do

I just found your channel. Thank you very much for sharing your process. I was feeling shame and doubtful about using 3d for myself to improve my art because of what I have heard other people say about using tools like these. Your sketch phase shows that you have knowledge of perspective and composition. The use of 3d modeling allows you to create a scene from imagination and give it a sense of realism (through proper perspective, lighting, and composition) that makes the final illustration beautiful, strong, and believable. You also have extensive skill in utilizing textures to make the character's world feel lived in, weighted, and meaningful. I am very thankful for this video and will strive to create a workflow for myself to improve the visual communication of my art.🥰

I think the contrast color is to make it easier for selecting each object and then separating it to different layers. That way you can make outline/lineart for each of them
@DedEternal Жыл бұрын
Also it looks like Cryptomattes basically ID based masks so it easier to seperate objects using hues
@zereenbhuiyan940211 ай бұрын
isnt it cheating to use a different app to help you draw? im just a beginner artist and ive heard this from people several times, is it cheating?
@cleanclouds9 ай бұрын
Wut? It's art no matter what app you use, there's nothing wrong if you use 3d models to help your own process, especially if it's stuff made by yourself, although it doesn't really matter. Photobashing is also a think, you may want to look it up. I can tell you are a beginner if you think something like this can be considered "cheating". The tools are there to help you, not to hinder your process of learning.
@Vodkrv5 ай бұрын
Nao, it isn't. The tools are there to support you and make the process easier, especially it helps when you sell commissions and you have to do them on time
