So it's just an expensive distortion plugin with an XY pad and a bunch of LFOs. I can do what this plugin does with much more control and freedom using plugins that come with my DAW.

Yeah, it seems like they've put loads of effort into the automation/performance aspects, which are pretty cool, but if all you're automating is a pretty average sounding distortion and some bitcrushing, what's even the point? Something like Shaperbox or Infiltrator has *way* more effects and possibilities.
