Not as popular as the Loomis method, but much easier and more fun! The Reilly method uses a series of circles and ovals to describe the planes of the face. Here is my way of understanding the Reilly method!

Just like DaVinci! I think this is a superior way to learn to draw. It describes the "why" and for me, that is so vital as a nurse. Love your use the actual anatomical names. "Why does it fit there? Because our anatomy dictates it so!" Just found your channel and sharing with my artsy friends.

this method seems better for actually learning what's going on under the skin, and then maybe moving onto the loomis method with elements of this for fast heads when youre comfy

Wow I’ve been learning to draw for a while now. I tried the loomis method & for some reason it just hasn’t clicked with me. Came across this video & thought let’s give this method a try. A switch came on & this worked. It seems if you can learn this base you can adjust for the type of face or features etc. Thank you!

I thought traditional drawing methods have the eyes right in in the center of the face- which I also believe is more anatomically accurate
