Lieutenant Lemons maybe you can explain? I have never heard of the golden ratio or the rule of thirds. And I would like to know about it.
@lieutenantlemons22605 жыл бұрын
Golden ratio and a rule of thirds are tools used to help composition. I'm not sure how to properly describe it,so you're better off googling it yourself
@cheesestealingfox33815 жыл бұрын
Lieutenant Lemons thanks for clarifying! I will look into it!thanks a lot!
@AryaBeltaine5 жыл бұрын
@@cheesestealingfox3381 the rule of thirds is one of the most important parts of composition - most artists use it unintentionally. you basically split your canvas/paper into three, vertically and/or horizontally, and that shows where it would be best to put your elements. it's hard to explain without visuals (so ur better off googling it whoops) but imagine a painting of an ocean and pink and purple sunset - the piece would look best if the ocean was in the bottom third, the pink was in the middle, and the purple was in the top as it would be the most balanced. if you wanted to add a focal point (the point where the viewers eyes go to first and is most noticeable) it would look best in the centre of ur piece. hope this helped!
