Interesting to consider -- Cas in Irish is a nickname for someone with curly hair. Funfact -- the name/last name Cassidy, O'Cassidy, O'Casaide etc basically is "descendant of the curly head." I have had such a terrible relationship with my own curly hair (from bullying to no one around me understanding how to care for it) that learning that bit about my last name really helped me appreciate my hair. In karinas defense about the broiler thing: not all oven have broilers. Some of them (like mine) DO have a storage drawer specifically for stuff like baking sheets. I didn't know that ovens *did* the broiling in the drawer thing for a long time bc my oven had an in oven setting for it BECAUSE THE DRAWER WAS STORAGE

I feel like Nathan's kind of an information/skill sponge (and that's definitely a positive thing). It's been very noticeable how much he's picked up from his teammates to improve his own art and style, and I think he's improved the most dramatically of anyone who's been on Drawfee during the show's time (granted he was one of the founders, but even just since the Karina era began), even drawing within the limited time afforded by each episode. Very admirable.

I don't think the baked part is the issue he had. When you bake mac & cheese, you mix it beforehand and THEN put it in the oven. Also, Jacob is from Georgia, so I am SURE he knows what baked mac & cheese is. What he was describing was specifically putting a whole block of cheese in the oven, not mixed in with the noodles, and then stirring it all together when it melted. That's not the typical way to make baked mac.

I think a cool challenge would be to have the first artist design a character and the next draw the same character after they develop as a character (and so on if you want more than two artists). So like in One Piece a pre and post time skip version of an original character, or beginning vs end design for Steven Universe gems. And as you draw you tell a story with how the character changes aesthetically! :D

Suggestion: Etymology challenge! Please draw yourselves or each other based on your name meanings!! Nathan Yaffe means “beautiful gift of god” in Hebrew, Julia Lepetit means either “the small sky god” or “small and youthful” in Latin and French, Karina Farek means “beloved divergence” in Latin and Hindi, and Jacob Andrews means “manly usurper” in Hebrew and Greek.
