One of my favorite yokai is from the urban legend of Turbo Bachan, translated as Turbo Granny. If you drive along the highways late at night, you might catch a glimpse of an old lady running in your rearview mirror. She'll then run alongside your car and knock on windows to try to get you to look. And if you do, you crash. Mainly because you aren't looking at the road. There's a few different versions where she isn't malicious or only targets reckless drivers. She old lady who run fast.
