Stav- Rule #1, LOCK DOOR to prevent carjacking. Do it before your seatbelts, program your muscle memory.

EXACTLY!!! I don't know how many videos I've watched and the person just gets yanked out of the car, if the doors were locked obviously it wouldn't be so easy...

I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for sharing your insight, tips, training and experience with us. I grew up around firearms-both from a self-defense standpoint and hunters throughout my family, but never really educated myself beyond knowing how to handle one when it's left out (i.e. don't pick it up, assume it's loaded, etc.) Thankfully, all of us were taught basic safety as soon as we were old enough to understand. So, I've never been afraid of them, but I never made it a priority to go to the range with my dad or go hunting with the boys, so now I'm behind the curve. So, I am soooooooo appreciative of people in the gun community like yourself who are willing to take the time to help people like me to not only become proficient but become confident in carrying and using as well (Heaven forbid). Finally, I want to tell you how much I absolutely LOVE YOUR CHANNEL NAME. I don't want to assume anything, but the phrase "She Equips Herself" has a very special meaning I would guess. I immediately thought of how God equips us to do Spiritual battle. This has become a novel, so please excuse me. But sincerely, I am grateful for the knowledge and hard work you put into the channel. Be strong & Courageous, Always! SF

I have retention holster being retired law enforcement and here in Arizona you may use deadly force to protect yourself from being car jacked, however you Must be aware of the target area past the criminal, always drive with the windows up and doors locked, auto glass is not easy to break, and even if you have to use the car to hit the suspect you have the right of self defense, always be aware of your surroundings and anyone near your car. If you do not think you can get in and secure your car before the suspect can get to it, stop, go back inside and call 911!!! and of course if you are being followed drive to the nearest police station while on the phone with the 911 operator, do Not ever attempt to stop the person and do not drive home!!! I love your videos as they teach others to Respect firearms, it is a must and is the law!!

Guys like your channel too! I wear cargo pants or cargo shorts & can easily strong side front pocket holster carry a small 9mm. If you’re parked, you can plant your feet on the floorboard and raise your hips til your torso is in line. Then it’s an easy draw from the pocket. I had to do that in real life one time, but that’s another story.

Silly Stav. When using the Ukoala bag, just slip the seatbelt straps UNDER the bag before buckling in. 😊

when carrying appendix just tuck the outer garment behind the pistol. saves a good bit of thinking for one and for two it can be drawn with one hand if needed. It would likely work for 3 o'clock carry as well though you may have to move it to a more of a 1 o'clock area.

I would love to see this same topic covered from the perspective of a left handed person. The best I’ve got is to shift my head and torso about 1-2 feet towards the center to allow my left elbow to clear the B pillar. Of course aiming and retaining would be impacted for the left handed person.

For the bag; undo the leg strap, then put the shoulder/lap belt under the bag. For the thigh; on the right leg just turn the firearm around so that the grip points forward. Just a twist of the arm. PS sit in the car - close door - LOCK door - seat belt - start car.

I have a GTM 99 cross body bag, driver, the crossbody strap goes around the seat belt post on the right side and the bag rest on the floor, the strap holds it from flying around and very quick to get my "phone" out. I never text and drive. As I have been carrying "my phone" that way since 2007, it works.

I keep saying I need to get a blue gun, but when I am doing stuff like this, I use either my SIRT pistol or my P320 Co2 pistol with no pellets in it. Great video, I've done some practice with drawing in the car. I carry at 3ish o'clock, either OWB or IWB on the right. The OWB is piece of cake to draw from, the IWB takes a little more, but a good draw time.

One other thing that might influence your choice of carry options in the car: what if the airbag gets deployed? I have not experienced it, but I understand that the airbag comes at you with a great deal of force, and anything sitting on your chest is going to give you a pretty serious bruise at least, and maybe even crack some ribs.

With the corset and the wearable holsters that are constantly on your body, how often do you have to wash them? That’s the main reason I really don’t consider the bras or leggings that have the built in holsters because of this. You’d have to buy multiple pairs or have an alternative carry method. How do you deal with this with the corset for instance?

With your 1st bag you might try to put the seatbelt under the bag. Than the seatbelt is not covering the top of the bag.

I wear side holster, but when I drive, I take my firearm out and put on seat under my upper left leg. Being in South Africa, driverside righthand of vehicle, and me righthanded, I keep it under my left leg, so will have to use my left hand (weak hand) to use my firearm in emergency, but at least I can access my firearm quickly and without any problems. And here our crime is out of hand, hijackings very popular with criminals, so it can happen anytime, anywhere, you just have to be vigilant.

None of these show you can have a light or RDS on your weapon. In 2024 these should be a staple on a carry gun. Also that sticky holster doesn’t seem to have any way to provide good retention on your person or in the holster or an ease of reindexing.

I'm sorry... The flagging your legs is a major no no and seeing how much time you spent excusing it, shows how bad that is. When the real moment comes and you HAVE to draw your firearm from a seated position... Is the time you most likely WILL have an accidental discharge!
