Drawing Not Another D&D Podcast's "Map of Bahumia"

Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to create and illustrate by hand the world map of Bahumia, the wonderful and wacky setting of the popular Dungeons & Dragons podcast Not Another D&D Podcast. In this video I go into a bit more detail on the process of creating the realm of Bahumia.
Not Another D&D Podcast is an incredibly popular Dungeons & Dragons podcast hosting my Brian murph, Emily Axford, Caldwell Tanner and Jake Hurwitz. It's a wonderful , hilarious, imaginative podcast and the world of Bahumia that Brian Murphy, the DM, as well as the entire cast, has fleshed out over the course of their first campaign is just rich and fun and weird in all the best ways.

There is a way to sketch with pencil first. You would sketch in a very light red or blue (a technique used by animators). Then just go over it with black pen and ignore the red or blue. Then when you scan in your drawing, you can easily filter out the color in photoshop. Might be worth testing out. Although looking at your drawings, it doesn't seem like you need it.

That's an awesome map. I have no clue what it's about, but it's still cool. I'd like a detailed drawing of the Below the Root map. One of the first computer games that I playing on our Apple IIC.

Hi Calum, I love the maps you've drawn. You might be interested in a fountain pen as they have a lot more durability than the fineliners. The Platinum 2776 UEF has a similar line thickness to a 0.05mm fineliner [kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpqviXuOfL6Dack]. You can also get a nib that has been ground down to a needlepoint size but it's more expensive.

Just been watching about Russian expadition to Antarctica and it mentions Russians development of the transport system, I could only be amazed by that comment as with government ristrictions they are as advanced as the brick same as our UK developments we also are as advanced as the brick or the hammer
