I think sketching out the story is perfectly valid form of coming up with it! Especially when you are someone who works with visuals a lot. And I also think it's great for avoiding forcing the story, you know? I would say the last think an author would want is the story and character traits to feel forced, so coming up with it while drawing the characters themselves seem great!!

I personally love writing, and it plays like movies in my head for my characters, but sometimes, working visually helps a lot too! Especially when it’s for a manga/webcomic instead of a book; It could also help when you’re stuck on a blank screen, and stressing on what to write, or how to build your characters. Drawing your characters will help you think of their persona, what they like or don’t like, and more. So I think it’s a really good way to make your manga/webcomic! I also found that working with the MC’s persona, and the main interest’s persona helps with the title. For example, a story I’m working on personally for myself, is called “Dandelions and Lilies” or “DAL” for short. It subtly explains the two character’s(the MC and the main love interest) relationship, and how the story will go. Dandelions represent: the return of life, strength, peace, growth, happiness, and etc. But while lilies DO have a positive meaning as well, it’s also used as “The flower of death” as it’s often associated with funerals. They represent: love, purity, and grief- I wanted to show that my story represents both joyful, and very sad and emotional times for my characters (the MC and the main love interest mostly), so I found that “Dandelions and Lilies” worked best. It’s also something that I find had a nice ring to it, so finding a title that you really like for your story helps a lot too, because (for me at least), it helps motivate me to work on it whenever I can! Sorry for rambling, but I hope this helps!

I create my own stories by real-world references and just random thoughts. What's my character's favorite food?; The food that I am currently eating. What's my character's favorite color?; The color of my clothes. This doesn't always work but it's a way for me to be creative in writing.

There IS a yaoi isekai manga where everyone is gay, but there are only men. It's called "Beasts Giving Love" if you're interested. It IS kinda creative how the author set up the isekai world's unique reality, even if some don't like that idea.

The character model for the girl hits different because I highly doubt she can see through her glasses and like, my glasses constantly slip down my face so I can't see through mine properly either. Doctor as well obviously. Loving the color pallets btw

4:37 Well....my friend came up mostly with the plot and I just sometimes also say something to what could happen end that they should look more closely to this one specific scene since it didn't make any sense(PS: The manga/webtoon we are currently making is a Bl and some side genres 7w7). But my friend writes mostly the story and I gave they some ideas so there are more options that we could choose from. So you could say that I am the the artist and they the Author? But it still makes fun to do it even though I don't have the time to continue the storyboard because of school xd. So yeah this is it basically? Oh and I love your videos I do really hope you do Webtoon since it's much more easier for me to also read the story because I do not have patrion :') OK now I have watched to whole video and Omg they all look so cool!! I also have a skeleton character that is a reaper that wears a top hat and carries a cane but the difference is mine is a bachelor and is fully a skeleton. The joke in story about my character is that people assumes he is *The Death God/Grim Reaper* but in reality he is just the her assistant. (I just want to share about my character.) It's okay to make something that already exist like a father-figure who happens to be a skeleton/ supernatural being or a supernatural being that is interested in human things but what is important is how you make this character uniquely yours. It's like my moto: Nothing is original, some form of it is already created, but what you do with it is original; what is missing is *you*. (Sorry, if this comes of as unsolicited advice. I just want to share about how your character reminded me of mine a little bit due to it's a skeleton in a top hat but they are not the same. I also wanted to say that's it's okay make something that already exist. There's already examples like do you how many vampire characters are there? But what makes them all different is people's different takes on vampires.)
