SCP-4035 is a table lamp with a stained glass patterned lampshade and an iron base. SCP 4035 does not appear to have any form of wiring or electrical components within it, other than a standard lightbulb socket.
Following the insertion of a lightbulb, a gaseous humanoid entity will apparate from within SCP4035 . This entity, referred to as SCP 4035 -1, has the appearance of a balding Caucasian male between the ages of 40 and 50, wearing a patchy brown suit coat.
Once the subject verbally responds to SCP-4035-1 in any manner, the subject will gain a biological modification or anomalous ability directly correlating with how the subject responded to SCP-4035-1. This occurs whether the subject was responding to SCP-4035-1's inquiry or not. Due to this, received abilities are often described by their recipients as "lackluster" or "disappointing."

I have a game with friends where one is the Genie, and one the Wisher. The purpose of the game is for the Wisher to make a perfectly unalterable and positive wish, while the Genie's role is to twist it. The Wisher wins if the Genie fails to find a way to twist the wish. It is surprisingly fun and a difficult exercice.

Are there more tests done with this SCP? I feel there is potential for additional tests to get interesting results like: - A very articulated, well made and super specific wish - Repeat the same wish twice to check if you get the same results - Wish on behalf of someone else - Wish for a specific SPC to Die or disappear (maybe is an effective way to get rid of SCPs that are hard to kill?) - Wish for the genie to tell more about himself - Wish for the genie to be nice and caring - Wish to become a genie - etc etc.

Whoever wrote this SCP wasn't very imaginative, because the d-class woman who got anti-gravity is actually super useful. I thought about the Immortality wish and thought: "This is probably pretty fool-proof." Until I realised that it might not stop the body ageing but simply make you unable to die. I’d say just say one word it will never mis interpret mastery meaning that your in control and have mastered what you wish the genie can’t fuck with you or mess you up even if it was literal you can’t be harmed you will always be in control nothing forced and it doesn’t have risks imagine being in information technology or a doctor can’t mess it up it will only help you lmao.

The zero gravity one actually isnt that bad if she has some sort of prepulsion on hand, like compressed air, rockets, or literally just heavy stuff in her pockets that she can throw, like with some tweaking thats a halfway decent ability

I was wondering if the Jinn's affects are also subject to written wishes or sign language. I have been an avid D&D player and am very aware of how things can easily be twisted. This is why I wonder about the other forms of communications used. Also, I wonder what would happen if you had introduced the Jinn to the Plague doctor. Or for that fact an animal that does not speak the human language such as a dolphin. I personally would request the fallowing: "Wish 1: 1 Complete comprehensive autobiography of the entity giving these 3 wishes, that can not be distorted or altered from my intent. Wish 2: That the entity giving these 3 wishes, Actively give an earnest effort to become my friend and share in experiences that the both of us would enjoy. Wish 3: I want to know what the entity that is giving these 3 wishes, would wish for themselves and why; this way depending on the entity's wish and explanation, I may willingly of my own chosen intent- choose to or not to give my 3rd wish to the entity."
