He was supposed to be dead at 30 due to a congenital defect in his heart that couldn’t be prevented....he got an extra 30 years he did damn good!

more of the same nonsense "i discovered periodization in 1980' 'ive ben doing this for 30 years, I was there first' "this is not new, i found this out in '68" you almost go so far as to credit him with making the connection between processed carbs and poor health.... seriously?

I discovered Charles in 1994 in an article in muscle media magazine. He was touting creatine as an ergogenic aid a solid 10 years before that. Didn’t get into the mainstream bodybuilding until roughly 1996. He was well ahead of his time, everyone began copycatting him a decade later.
