Lately I been putting a tablespoon of 100% organic cacao powder combined with lions main fruiting body and mycelium into her morning bullet proof coffee (I use MCT oil, organic A2 grass-fed butter, filtered water and organic hopefully mold free Palestinian coffee ) and a Tablespoon of cacao in her evening goat milk yogurt. Her decline does seem to have stopped and she seems to be more engaged despite her aphasia. Now if I can just get her glucose levels under control. Even on high fat, medium protein, low carb keto-flex diet and fasting 16 hours a day her glucose levels are 110 -140. She's thin as a rail and just laughs at me saying, "That's cause I'm naturally sweet!" Anyway, this is more great information to use in our battle to fully reverse this disease. I grew up eating Cantonese style cooking where we sautéed and steamed our vegetables. Olive oil has a very strong flavor that does not complement our style of cooking. I learned about Pecan Oil about 7 years ago from a doctor who turned chef on a PBS channel. It has equal or higher smoking point than Olive Oil. It has a higher viscosity than most commercial oil such as canola or vegetable oil which means I need less as I cook. Most importantly it is not chemically processed, but mechanically pressed which is better for my health. Also, it has a mild flavor which enhances my sautéed food. I’m curious to know what Dr. Li think of Pecan Oil as a physician and health expert.

@logan050110 күн бұрын
You’re spreading misinformation. Calorie counting isn’t false-it’s basic science. Weight loss still comes down to calories in vs. calories out. While the quality of food matters for overall health, it doesn’t change the fact that consuming more calories than you burn leads to weight gain. Dismissing calorie counting misleads people and ignores proven research. Both calorie quantity and quality are important for managing health and weight.
@ryan63919 күн бұрын
@@logan0501 you are correct, but this person said that quality really doesn't matter and calories is what counts when actually quality is even more important for good health and even weight loss. If you are eating high quality foods like whole foods and not processed chemical laden garbage your body will be healthier, you will be more active and you will ever consume less and have a healthy weight. Alwaye exercise, but not the point here. Try to get fat from eating beef, sweet potatoes and broccoli. The food industry puts chemicals, sugars, corn syrup into these processed foods that make them addictive so you overconsume and you still don't get the same nutrients you would of from a good diet. The food is what matters more, not calorie counting. The food industry, diet advice is part of whats killing people today and saying the type of calorie doesn't matter is misleading the public.
@dennisward436 күн бұрын
@@logan0501 No, calories are just inaccurate guidelines. Weight loss involves much more than calories, water loss for a start. You can lose weight by drinking less water and eating exactly the same units of energy (the human body is not a closed system). So you are the one spreading misinformation.

That is why is so confusing to make a decision about dieting. Carnivores say that you don’t need the fiber or the vegetables have bad chemicals that cause inflammation. WHO is right ? Lol
@dunnono002 күн бұрын
The truth is, the body is pretty adaptive. It can make do with most diets, provided you aren't laying on the couch all day or have serious health issues. Quite frankly, most, if not all diets, have one thing in common: restriction. If so-called carnivores rant about how eating only meat saved them from leprosy or whatever, I just wonder what the heck they've been eating all this time or what they've been doing to their bodies. If it helps them, more power to them. I personally see it as another fad diet, possibly driven by sociopolitical issues. I have no health complications. If I want to lose weight, I eat about 1500-1800 calories and moderately increase weight lifting and cardiovascular activities. Boom, I lose weight. Otherwise I just... eat meat sometimes, eat grains, vegetables, fruits sometimes. I may skip a meal here and there. I may pig out on a Friday or a Saturday (but not every Friday or Saturday). The body is forgiving as long as you stay active and keep some muscle on you, at least in my personal experience.
@Iron-BridgeКүн бұрын

Can’t believe you didn’t round out the olive oil conversation with calories instead of COST! 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil is almost 500 calories.

So now this guy will be dead against coconut oil because it's so very high in saturated FAT as is butter, lard and any other animal fat. Doc. I think you could do with a bit of steak cooked in TALLOW. It'll do you the world of good.
