@Xbalanque842 жыл бұрын
To say nothing of the grave he's digging himself. Why is it that he never stops to consider whether the price is too damn high? Seven for one is a bad deal, God only knows what awaits those souls offered, there is no guarantee that what he gets back is really his wife, and the very act of trying has made him undeserving of her anyway. Why does he never stop to ask "is this what she would want?"

Well, I’d have seen that coming if I hadn’t already seen it coming! Wonderful work Dr Creepen. And an excellent job with the story and the writing. Hats off to the author Ringo Cross, as it kept my attention for nearly two hours. Not an easy task! Many twists and turns, but I did miss one thing, when did the “agents” give him the information of that he was required to follow? I seemed to think they had left, and somehow he knew? Did he Google it? Other than that all was quite well done!👍👏👏👏👏
@ringocross99802 жыл бұрын
Idk if I answered your question but yeah he basically googled it lol. It’s a long story that I poorly explained but basically they couldn’t leave Mr. Hutchinson with “how to kill seven people” instructions. I get what you’re saying though and thanks for the feedback!

Morning Dr Creepen . question for you. What does "noping" mean? Love the story as always making a great peace of writing come to life for the author well done to the pair of you 👏👏
@insekta17012 жыл бұрын
‘Noping’ means deciding not to do something. It could be a social interaction or a an awkward situation, a scary or creepy situation, an annoying situation, something risky or dangerous, anything that gives one a feeling or desire to not do something which makes you internally say ‘Nope. Not going to do it!’ An example is one from my life that I do nearly everyday. I work in a call center and spend all day on the phone, and I like to eat in peace, and not talk to anyone. Often when I go to the lunchroom and see a certain coworker in there, and the guy doesn’t let me have any alone time during my meals, or when I’m waiting for the rain to stop to get to my car after work, or when I’m studying. Now, when I see him, I instinctually start ‘noping out’ on sitting in the lunchroom. It can also be said ‘nope’ and ‘noped’ too. ‘I noped out of that dirty gas station bath room’, ‘I had to nope out on going to that party’.

Thanks Dr! EDIT... I don't know what to say now that I have finished it. I didn't see that coming at all. Amazingly dark and disturbing tale the author has a perfect mind for horror stories.

If you think about the story, including the end...............I think its actually fitting that the dude did _exactly_ what he did in the story as far as not asking more questions and being far more hesitant to do heinous acts based on scant information. SPOILERS BELOW FOR THOSE NOT AT THE END YET: The guy basically was already prone to dog shit Decision making and risk assessing seeing as how he apparently killed his supposed "love of his entire world" for the insurance money. I thought this way too at first..........but hearing him try to convince himself at points that it was an accident, Samantha turn feral from resentment that she carried to her grave, and then the technicians analyzing her body before she got back........just all makes everything make sense. Even down to his cold manner he referred to his victims. All but the ladies. even then, he only felt a _bit_ bad about murdering the second only true innocent soul on his list. so yah. I believe hes not only a terrible person.........but a dumb, impulsive one. Nicely done @Ringo Cross

I think I missed the point in this story. First, if someone told you they could restore the dead, but only if you murdered 7 people for them first, would you believe them? But this guy instantly did, no questions, no doubts, no hesitations. Did I miss something to the story, because frankly it made no sense. Sorry but I can't work up any sympathy for a guy who was willing to murder seven other people in order to restore his wife to life. I wondered why he was not at least hesitate, but in the end it reveals that he was a murderer anyway. And since he had killed his wife, someone he supposedly loved, killing other people would mean nothing to him. But I don't get what the point was. This mysterious "agency" gives him back his wife, turned into a zombie, who kills him. What were they trying to accomplish? What was the point of the set up? Sure, the basic idea is that if you bargain with the devil, you always lose. But most of this story seems to be pointless. The hints of what was going on were way too vague. Not at all a satisfying story.
