Dear Dr., I’ve been listening regularly since I came across your channel a couple of weeks ago and I’m definitely hooked. Listening to your readings helps me wind down at night, gives my brain something to focus on so it’s not rampaging from one anxiety to the other. I have a suggestion, in the spirit of constructive feedback; Do with it what you will. Sometimes as you read, your voice decrescendos to nearly inaudible towards the end of a sentence, and I find myself having to rewind multiple times during a story, or crank the volume to an uncomfortably loud level (at times when you’re speaking at your beginning volume) in order to catch the last couple of words in a sentence. Clearly no one else has this issue, and I admit I do have a moderate level of hearing loss, but I listen very intently. I can surmise the last few words most of the time, but not always. Thank you for attending to my ramblings. ;)

@@cutenose38 you didn't have the sense to hide a couple of your cats in a closet or something? Where the hell do you live that people are coming inside your house to inspect it? Are you living on government funds or something like that? I'm very confused. My landlord does yearly inspections of my apartment and I'm only allowed to have two cats. I have six. So every year we have to hide a couple cats for 20 minutes or so. I've been doing that on and off for a decade. Is it like a surprise inspection where they just can knock on your door and bust in your house without your permission? And why didn't you just move then? I'm not trying to be rude, but it's situations like this that fill the shelter. If someone told me to choose between my apartment and my cats, I'm moving. End of story.

@@jackdurden466 it is not difficult to adopt a cat anywhere in America what are you talking about? 90% of apartments that have a no cat rule will never know you had one in a million years. It's people prioritizing having sexy New York apartments over having pets that are also filling the shelters. I remember a story of my friend getting rid of all his cats because he moved to a place that doesn't allow cats. When I asked him why he would ever move to a place that doesn't allow cats, he explains that the apartment was too nice to pass up. I can't imagine a world where I gave my animals up to have more space or save a few bucks. Or God forbid have nicer wood floors or stainless steel frigerators

Hey Dr C, Ive stuck my head out of hibernation for a bit, actually, something woke me up. It was some noisy sports event, the Atlantic games, or something. The ppl there couldn't even talk properly yet, maybe theyre slow learners, god love em. The tv showed that there was a big, tall building thing there, too. It was kinda purty to look at, but couldn't possibly be functional as a ' building '. But a closing ceremony THAT LOUD???? AHHHHHH. And now im awake. So. Ive belted down some MacDonald's, skulled a beer,( aaaaaand another one. Don't judge, i may not come out of my hibernation hut/bed for at least another 4 months! ) And : Everybody, have your flu shots, theres a bad one going around. There have been many deaths here in one of our states,( Victoria) and there are some deaths in new south wales too. In Australia, we've got a mutant strain of flu that's not as predominant as corona, but just as deadly. I heard it came from one of the cargo ships, from overseas. So : please get your flu vax, everyone!!!!!. Ive had the flu twice this winter ,( no, not that one), but with one flu, i was in bed for 3 weeks, sick. Not fun !!!
