I feel as though the protagonist was an idiot. 1 He has evidence of hell and demons exist and therefore He should know GOD exist. Instead of asking The Almighty to help him remove the curse he does the opposite and starts to believe that GOD can't help him, and instead puts his faith in a demon which is the cause of all his misery and crime. In that situation the most logical thing would be to get the curse removed through divine help. By believing that GOD did not want him he fell for the demons trap, had he done the opposite and resisted And put his FAITH in GOD he could had gotten saved.

Another NC-based story! Been seeing a lot of them lately. A little tip for the Doc on pronouncing Raleigh-- it's named after Sir Walter Raleigh, and pronounced the exact same way (rather than the "rally" pronunciation the Doc has going on here). It's one of the few place names in the American South where both the American Southern accent and the standard English accent pronounce it the same way.
@pameversole58862 жыл бұрын
Yep, or to make things easier… it’s pronounced “raw-ly”. 😊
@maledictionwolf2 жыл бұрын
@@pameversole5886 it's not raw-ly... it's rah-ly. Like, rah-rah-ooh-rah-rah rah-ly! Jokes aside, there are like 2 ways of reading every pronunciation I thought of spelling out which is why I didn't do it. I just couldn't figure out a clear way to spell it out. With a US accent, raw-ly could work, but raw-ly with a UK pronunciation like the Doc's would end up something like roor-ly, and the "ah" in rah-ly could be read either as the "ah" from "cat" or the "ah" from "car"

Whew, that was quite the ride! An enormous thanks to the author Snake Tongue 237, for this piece of incredibly well written fiction. As I definitely choose not to buy into the ending! I’d imagine most of us feel like that. And a huge thanks to Dr Creepen for such a long story for our enjoyment! And he definitely delivered! The only thing I found off was that demons never give up their names. It’s supposed to give you power over them, so if you were to believe that, he could’ve told Castor to piss off. But, that’s the enjoyment of fiction. Just as animation, anything can be possible. And this particular story took full advantage of that. Well done you two! I am always waiting for more, so I know where to find you. Thanks again! 👏👏👏👏👏

I hate to say this but as a father of a 2 year old son the death of one person yearly sounds like a simple request to make sure he doesn't lose his father. I'm sure I would feel different after a couple years or at least I hope I would but many parents would do whatever it takes to be there for their children.

Yeah I did too. I think we see him questioning the way he thought of her about halfway in. Something about the fact that she had a life outside of prostitution when he had considered her to be filth. I think showing that thought process means he realizes how wrong it is to judge her so harshly…I didn’t really expect this character to have a progressive attitude towards sex workers.

Oh the ending is not only a bummer I think it was kind of lazy. Not that I can say much.I fancy myself a writer who hasn't written in two years. But I just mean that it seems that it would have been interesting if he had missed out on a chance of redemption. Really the story ends up ultimately not mattering if everyone dies and goes to hell in the end. For a demon tale this is far to straight forward. I like my demon tales with trickery,a big ol pile regret because you didn't see something properly at the end.
