TULA cleanser is the only cleanser that doesn't seem to break me out. I have tried so many different cleansers that I thought had pretty good ingredients but TULA is the only one that works for me. Very informative video. I'm so glad I found your channel. I am very interested in learning about skin care and protecting my skin.

Thank you so much for talking about pre-and probiotic skin care as well as thermal water! These are very intriguing new skin care findings that I hope you are more than just about trend, but real skin health. I use The La Roche Posay Double Repair moisturizers along with other Toleriane Products and just love how much good they have done for my skin. The double repair moisturizers I have used the last year and a half and those alone have really transformed the long-term health of my skin, sans actives. They really are drugstore gems! Hopefully more people will try them now that you have talked about them!

So glad to hear your review of Tula!! I got a sample of Murad 4 in 1 prebiotic hydration cleanser and love it, but don’t know why. It just leaves skin feeling refreshed and not dry, which is my skin, dry and dry climate and 63 years old. So thanks for helping me decide if to buy it, it is expensive....so just not sure about it. Thanks again, have a great week.

would you be able to do a video on dry cleansing? some articles have convinced me to try it out, im just confused because most people wet their faces before they apply their face wash, myself included, and every face wash bottle says in the directions to wet face before applying.. but dry cleansing seems more logical.. idk im gonna try it out and see how it works! would definitely love your advice and opinions on it though!

I got a new tube of the trentinoin gel and i'm am DRY AS THE SAHARA! Any good recs for super a dry flaky face?? I have a red facial skin, however, I don't have visible cystic acne. My face is just red. No prescription creams or gels worked. My doctor gave me Benzyl Peroxide, Salicylic acid, etc. They made my skin itchier, drier and more uncomfortable. When I started using The Inkey List Multi Biotic Moisturizer the redness went away in three days.

Dr Dray I asked you recently about gel like sunscreens to buy in the drugstore, specially for my husband that has a stubble. I think I found one that might be Dr Dray approved: LRP Anthelios Water lotion SPF 60. Maybe it is not technically a gel, but to me it does look a lot like the biore sunscreens. Also, I saw that Neutrogena has a liquid version of Ultra Sheer that might be useful. Though I would mention because I always see comments here asking for recommendations on sunscreens for the beard area.

Hi, Dr. Dray! I've had excellent luck with the skincare line "Eminence," a Hungarian organic skincare brand that I bought on Dermstore. I'm surprised there isn't much hype on it, considering people like Megan Markle recommended it. I looked at the ingredients, and it's sensitive skin-friendly, and the products contain an impressive list of ingredients like herb extracts, vegetable extracts, salicylic acid, coenzyme q10, alpha-lipoic acid, etc. Just wondering if you've already done a video on it or are planning to (-:

I have really bad hormonal chin acne and cystic acne and I’ve been using khiels and Mario bedascue and I found Tula at Ulta when my face wasn’t improving and it’s been a god send. It’s an expensive line but worth it. The acne cleanser dries me out but at the same time my skin feels smoother and the oil free gel moisturizer saves it. The acne pen is amazing and I can feel it working. My skin changed overnight I was amazed!

Hi Dr. Dray! I am fairly recent to your channel and have been really enjoying all of your thoughtful and informative videos covering a wide array of skin care topics ( I also really enjoy the vlogs too 😊). I have 14 years of experience as a nurse, a degree in biology and still have a difficult time finding good resources when trying to understand the nuances of skin care and how all of the various ingredients in OTC cosmetics work and interact. Thank you so much for taking the time to synthesize it all into a digestible format! Do you have any suggestion (other than combing through pubmed) for reliable resources (books, professional journals, websites etc.) to get a better understanding of these chemicals from a dermatological perspective? Thanks again and love your videos!

Hi! Happy Wednesday! A video on the effects of dermal spring water would be welcome! I went to see some references on the subject today. I think I'm going to have some reading for a while with all these references. I like to use certain substances in a product if studies show me the benefits of it. You have to base yourself on something concrete, otherwise you read the labels of the products that promise you "Mountains and wonders" (considerable benefits, admirable, surprising things)" and you buy the product. Several ingredients are effective, but if they are mixed with problematic ingredients they no longer have the same meaning. That's why, if you tell me that this product with this ingredient is the best way to make a positive impact, I believe you 100%. Because I trust you!

Thanks for the video. I’m currently using a probiotic face spray from a brand called mother dirt. I believe the bacteria is live because the say to keep it in the fridge. Hopefully it’s keeping my microbiome healthy!

Wonderful information today! I'm not sure how much pre or probiotics I put on my face, but I certainly try to eat so that I have digested in my diet. Happy Wednesday 😊🍁

I started using a spring water spray as a final rinse just because the water where I am is very treated and on the hard side. I was surprised how much softer and calmer my skin felt afterwards. My skin has been looking better lately. I didn't tie it to the spring water but perhaps it's more helpful than just eliminating the calcium and chlorine etc?

the calcium is the main problem..cholrine alone tends to be fine

Murad also has a new line of skin care with prebiotics. I used the sunscreen you mentioned, and I liked it a lot. I can't use around my eyes because of the chemical sunscreen.

Great info Doc! I was thinking about trying Tula a few months ago and when I read the ingredients on the moisturizer I got turned off. The Dr. who developed the line should know that fragrance and alcohol are things that shouldn't be in skincare.

I have watched your videos on nail care, but I would love to see a video about care for common nail issues. Yellow nails, ridges, nails lifted from the bed. I have been to the doctor to rule out other issues and they are considered “just cosmetic” issues. Little to no help and I am left trying to figure it out. Also, gentle nail products. I know some of my issues are the harsh chemicals in polishes and removers. I know you like Zoya, but I would love your thoughts on the issue. I always love your thoughts and recommendations!

Yes, i would like to know, I also use Zoya nail products. I have a nail that is all that and my dermatologist said it is not fungus.

Thanks for this! A comment you made reminded me of the claim for Collodial Silver and how it kills bad bacteria, well duh, if it kills bad bacteria then it also kills the good stuff. I think a video on thermal spring water would be interesting since we have many thermal pools around Rotorua for bathing (not drinking).

Just to add - I wasn't impressed with Tula when I looked at it. If I were to spend the money on this type of system, I'd go for the Clinique Redness Solutions. I love La Roche-Posay :) Definitely would like a video on thermal water.

Hello dr.dray! I’m new to your channel! What do you think about cocokind skincare oil to milk cleanser? It’s made with oats. They claim to be great for acne-prone skin. & I’m really thinking about trying it out!
