I love the Medicube collagen night wrapping mask. It really locks in my nighttime routine and my skin feels wonderful when I peel it off in the morning! Note: using a thicker layer makes it much easier to peel off in one nice piece.

LMAO I don`t remember possum and biscuits, but remembering passionate kisses by Mary Chapin Carpenter just teleported me back through time! We had that cassette tape in the car! If you were on a long enough road trip, you could do a MCC - Bonnie Raitt - Shania Twain triple feature. Mary Chapin Carpenter also had a good tune to the effect of Sometimes you`re the windshield, sometimes you`re the bug, which I think I`m going to cue up after this vlog. Thanks, Doc!

Originally the lyric about the windshield and the bug is by Dire Straits and called, The Bug.

After Hurricane Beryl, we lost several roof shingles. Before we could get a roofer, a possum decided to take up residence in our attic! We could hear him up there (daytime) and wr were afraid he'd chew up the wiring or ductwork. We hired a "critter catcher" who set traps ($250). We eventually caught 2 possums, 1 raccon & a squirrel before we got the roof replaced. (They took them & released them in the "wild.") But supposedly possums don't carry diseases & are good for the environment & get rid of pests! Who knew!

I'm pretty sure that mask can also be washed off in addition to peeled off. Also, having family from the South, I've heard of folks eating possum, squirrel, armadillo, etc. If you come across some of the local Junior League cookbooks, you'll probably find recipes.

Really? I love this mask. I sleep on my face and this keeps all my skincare in place all night. I've tried to change but I can't sleep any other way. I'm so shocked you don't like it. I make sure and get really moisturized before I put it on and you do have to use a thicker layer of the mask but it has made a huge change in my hyperpigmentation. I'm guessing it's the niacinimide but I don't know for sure. This thing dries down tight and that worried me at first but after I peeled it off, I felt my face and it was still moisturized underneath all that tightness. Hoping that tightness helps me with my face crinkles at night lol

Can you do a video about lip masks and lip oils and your opinions on what is good, what is not, what to look for in a lip oil/jelly mask? I'm using a lip mask right now and it got me thinking about jellies and oils for lips. Or have you already done a video on lip masks and jellies and oils? I'm trying to do a lip scrub follow by a mask or oil treatment. Here is Missouri, it gets so cold and dry that my skin starts to dry and flake. Sometimes, I think I'm part of the lizard people that conspirators talk about. 😂 I can tell how bad winter is going to be by my skin sensitivity and if I start peeling and scratching in early fall, I know it's a bad winter. 😊

Please talk about managing exfoliation for mature skin (70 yo). I use tretinoin without irritation however in daytime my face tends to peel esp around mouth and T zone. Can't figure out if it's from moisturizer serums etc under sunscreen, sunscreen formula, or whatever but i don't know how to eliminate this situation!! Happily, at night I start my double cleanse with cleaning oil which is great for gently lifting away the flakes.
@Hemmyii7 күн бұрын
I’m having a similar issue but I think it’s my sunscreen mixing with my moisturizer or a serum that’s making it peel up on the areas of my face that move. I don’t think for me it’s actually skin that’s peeling.

Hey Dr. Dray! Could you talk about follicular macular atrophy in one of your videos? My chest, shoulders and back are covered in these small white bumps that don’t hurt and that I can’t pop, but that bother me a lot because of the bumpy, uneven texture. I’ve been to 3 dermatologists who could not tell me for sure what it was. After those frustrating visits I researched online and found out about follicular macular atrophy and based on the pictures it seems to be exactly what I have, but I couldn’t find much on how to improve them. Do you have any tips? Thank you in advance!

Doc, the comment about southern people eating opossum found dead on the side of the road is in poor taste (no pun intended) and reinforces negative stereotypes of southern people. I grew up a poor country girl in Louisiana. Opossum nor any animal found dead was on the menu. If folks are eating this then they are desperately poor and hungry and it’s not a joke.
