This was, is, and ALWAYS will be a work of art and in my opinion one of the few movies that is perfect from start to end. I don't care if there are some questionable moments but that's the best thing about this work of art. I listen to this song and remember my one true first love. I miss her sooooo much and I don't know where she is. I think about her every now and then and I ball up. We were very young but the time we spent together was priceless. Unfortunately her family moved away and we lost touch. But I NEVER forgot the way she kissed, the touch of her hands, the smell of her essence. Ever since her and her family left I lost a part of myself and have been angry ever since. I'm not sure I'll ever find that love again. I thought I did a couple of times but it wasn't even close. So with this knowledge I live day to day keeping to myself with this pain and anger trying to keep it bottled up as best as I can. Her name is Natalie but I forgot or really didn't know her last name. When your that young you don't think about last names all the time. I just hope she's alive and happy. I don't know why I wrote all of this but there has to be a reason right? Anyway if anyone reads all of this, thank you for listening.

Being in love with someone is a blessing and a curse at the same time. It's the times you remember that was the best part. But its the breakaway that is worse. I use to be like you. And trust me I feel your pain. What would help me is I would write down what I felt about that person and put it down on paper (such as writing/typing poems, songs or just storys)

This is the type of beautifully dreamy music that allows me to fall into this state of soothingly healing, nostalgic bliss, so sweetly evocative & gloriously awakening as it all is, this song of timeless magic, of better, more halcyon days, & of more euphorically upbeat sensations, resonating smoothly & poignantly to the depths of my essence, thus have so many fond, sublimely transcendent & wonderful memories just come flooding right back!

I recall a portion of this wonderful song was utilized in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” but this fan made music video incorporates the full Dream Academy song with significant highlights from this classic film! Thank for creating and sharing this beautiful clip👌💕

Christ, I can't believe 30 some years have passed, seems like yesterday. Like Ferris says- Life Moves Pretty Fast! At that time, I didn't think things would change so drastically in life and in this world. And now with this pandemic and so much other shit, its like a whole nother planet now. Let me know when someone invents that time machine.

I love this song and Dream Academy.. You all should look them up on KZbin.. Their music is so great.. Their cover of The Smith's "Please, Please, Please" is even better than The Smith's version in my opinion.. Love this iconic 80s classic.
