I use a desktop mount underneath my standing desk - helps ease the mind when it comes to wire lengths, since the destinations move together. Helps a ton in terms of wire management.

Maybe he can have 2/3 short step shelves on the shelf thing ( short each one lower, and closer to the person seated) and put his top 2 or 3 favourite arrows making it easier to distinguish each arrow, visually
