I would be somewhat concerned about the crack. Even if the insurance company is willing to continue coverage, I would want more investigation done as to the cause. Is there a drainage problem. Is the land subsiding? Also, will the insurance cover full costs if the crack began to widen and major structural work was needed?
@numbereightyseven2 жыл бұрын
Exactly. If it's going to be an excluded condition, it's a good as uninsured.

there can be a huge difference, too, with a crack in a drywall wall (normal settling) and a foundation or outside wall (thats holding the building up). I wouldn't touch a house with a crack in its outer walls or foundation no matter what the insurance company said.

All older properties will hack racks. I would be worried if you come across an old property and the owner doesn't say it has cracks. It will always have cracks! You don't want cracks, buy a newer property, lol.

I never saw her as immature in this search, but as the more realistic of the two about the kind of work they'd be up for. Honestly, any time I see a house look that messy when they knew they'd be on tv tells me they're both either lazy or busy and neither of those things are great indicators for the type of people who should take on a remodel.
