Dream Master Lake is a cinematic AI short film inspired by dystopian Sci-Fi, delving into capitalist notions with a touch of fantasy. Follow our protagonist's journey to this mysterious resort, where affluent individuals indulge in induced dreams amidst a world where magic is now forbidden. Assigned to a volunteer cohort, she trades her lifetime for endless dreaming, fueling her creativity into a hivemind to fulfill clients' fantasies. I've always loved dystopian Sci-fi movies since they're so driven by concept and visuals, and AI now lets us put these concepts to life. For my love of Fantasy, I wanted to dabble and try to mix it into this story, designed to be a trickle into understanding the overall concept.

Nope. Not quite. "the enclave" is an underground political movement to overthrow those in power. The mastermind - the same Mr. Wazir from 7000 years ago, the inventor of the tech, and the leader of the enclave - does this via Inception-like influence in induced pleasurable dreams for the elite "customers", fed and powered by the nightmare agony of the young people of the enclave, who agree to sacrifice themselves, not knowing exactly what to expect, but assume they themselves will be entering a pleasurable permanent dream state, which would allow them to escape the doldrums of an apparently bleak existence in which they envy the elite whom they wish to overthrow. (fantastic run-on sentence there) Just my crazy take. Could be TOTALLY wrong.

I used Midjourney for the images, I trained a model for a certain style I liked and reused the aesthetics for the whole film

Hey! I used the new picture-based style reference that came out on Midjourney. Basically, you type --sref and paste an image link. Midjourney will use the general style and aesthetics to your generations. It does not always work perfectly, but helps a LOT for consistency.

BOOORING! porque no hay historias, solo videos cortos de 2,3 o 4 segundos y no hay dialogos ni una historia que seguir, pues todo es muy bonito, pero es como ver fotos una tras de otra y que no cuentan historias ni dialogos interesantes, pues solo son recortes y ya. Seems *_visually stunning_* until all _'value'_ and what would make _art_ special, flies out the window as i realised it's generated by AI.... Yes yes, i saw it in the title after it got going, maybe i assumed it was ABOUT Ai - anyway, regardless, i think it's sad that art is cheapened by AI.... Also, this particular short, was VERY corny and cliche.. so all in all, disappointing and barely a 2/10......Actually that wasn't even a 'short film'! Not even a 'story'! At BEST you could call this an exercise in AI video making...It's like a school project. *{EDIT, my bad, i mistook this for a short film channel, probably thought it was channel "DUST" - now i see it's for a competition - maybe creator was just trying to show specific possibilities/skills. Sadly i know nothing about editing video with AI, so i have no idea if this is good or not....but one thing that's sad is doing an old theme (need pain to know pleasure + old ppl wanting to buy or steal other ppl's experiences etc etc) - all been done 100 times in sci-fi!* *Why wouldn't you use this amazing new thing (AI) to do **_totally new kinds of stories/perspectives?!_** The kinds of things no one has every been able to do before, because of limitations of conventional film/video?? - Anyway, sorry to be the downer here - good luck with future works!]*
