I loved that Hasbro showed another possible way to display it. Would you rather have a giant vehicle that definitely wouldn't fit on your shelf. 💪🤔 for me, it's a definite pick up. It's incredible.

I saw they provided measurements for the pieces so you can see how the three play set bundle can be displayed. And I’m 🤔 about a giant vehicle that won’t fit on my shelf… sounds like a dream project. 💪🏼🤣

If you hadn't heard in the hasbro video they had said the left space on the other side of the bar. So it wasn't right up against the back of the shelf. That likely means there is room on the other side to display figures, but it might be tricky getting them set up.

I’m pretty sure they were only talking about the booths not being pushed back (to fit lighting). I put some screen grabs in my community page which really make it look pretty much against the back of the shelf.

@@VernRants I think you should re-address this with a more current reply Vern. I see this video is from 3 weeks ago. Since then I heard the Wuhrer and the Tonnikas are exclusive to the set. And that the other figures may come in the future, but on different cardbacks. It's still an "out" for Hasbro, (if they really don't want to release Greedo, Nabrum, and Ariel), but I can see them releasing those later because why would Hasbro leave money on the table?

I thought it was a fun presentation. Definitely the type of approach they should be taking to drum up more interest and they specifically addressed fan issues which is good. But... I'm actually even less convinced than I was before. Separated across shelves it looks more like the $50 TVC playset pieces they've been doing (most of which have ended up around £20). IMHO it's very much an expensive photography piece rather than a playset or even a shelf diorama.

I did appreciate the video and I like a couple of the things they did. It was kind of glaring that it was more multiple play sets than one piece. They should sell exterior set pieces across the brands.

It's a playset, where the "play" features are "standing around" and "sitting down", with pretty outrageous pricing (even if it accurately replicates some of the damage seen on the original set...). Your diorama idea would be perfect - even using half the bar - using imagery created from movie footage. Regards tiers, I think Hasbro are just desperately trying to find ways to encourage/"force" people to back their underwhelming Star Wars kickstarter offerings - over 100 cups just won't do it. This should not have been a HasLab - it should have been several smaller modular sets, available at normal retail.

This is most definitely a bundle of play sets. An outdoor set could have had addition building fronts. I still want three of those booths for a display. I’ll probably 3d print them though

Agreed. And it's because Hasbro is Greedo... If they want to save face, and ensure that we buy their future projects, as a sign of good faith, they should announce that all tiers are now just included. It is July 5th, it's now funded, and 3 days left, and not even the Greedo tier unlocked. These corporations nowadays only see in the immediate dollar they can pilfer, instead of company longevity.
