Honestly I just wanna thank ‪@dreamtheaterofficial‬ as they've been a huge musical inspiration: I'm not exaggerating when I say I've been a fan since I was born (I remember learning my first few words in english by reading the tracklists of their albums!), and Octavarium is just my favorite piece of music ever.
I've tried arranging according to how I personally hear the song (everyone gives importance to different lines differently!); hopefully it's satisfying enough to be a decent reference for future arrangements/reinventions of the song.
P.S: 12:53 I'm not crazy, go look at how ‪@MikePortnoyDT1‬ plays it in Score (I tried, he looks like a god while I look cringe but fearing cringe is cringe so it stays)

Absolutely magical. The moment I heard the first bar on my earphones, I stopped and played this out on my sound system, sipping a glass of tea and doing absolutely nothing else. By the end, I was in tears. Razor’s edge was nothing short of transcendent. Playing the basslines on the keyboard solo (which is hard enough as it is, I’ve covered it, I know) is wizardry. You represent the best of us and showcase how devoted prog fans can really be. Thank you for such a moving experience, a tribute to the best song ever written.
