He even stoped with too much dampening on snare, but he chooses to play like for show not for "music" and its a choice. People can see his hand movement without toms, i believe thats the reason

No veas cómo se le da (gracias a un colega que tiene una sala de conciertos de metal, puede tocarla cuando le sale de las narices), y todo es gracias a TI (bueno, y a mi como madre que le pongo todas tus covers porque llevo enamorada de la batería desde que tengo memoria, pero a mi no me dejaron aprender música porque mis padres tenían la carrera de piano y prefirieron no meterme en ese estudio tan jodido de compaginar con el colegio y/o una carrera que no sea musical). MM is known for his musical orchestration as well as his technique on the drums! So being on a small kit this removes removes much of the complexities, its like playing on a drum pad compared to kit! This drummer is none the less amazing and his speed and independence is awesome!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen him play with something with ‘feel’ i.e the jazzier genres with a softer touch for lack of a better word. Not to detract away from his skill because, honestly, it's great. But, playing a minimalistic kit is WAY less complicated for orchestration. that's like saying, wow that guy did a great job playing that 12 string part on a 3 string guitar. @@The0nlyy it's right before the switch. There's a couple of hits in the tail end of the snare pattern what ended up sounding unnatural, almost like if the snare were to shut off for a moment. Maybe a pedal misfired or something. It was a momentary oddity.
