I was at the Pit section just in front of John Myung and that final fry scream Devin pulled blew my fricking mind! I was at the show mainly because of Devin, since I've seen Dream Theater several times already. It is kinda sad though that LaBrie singing decayed so much at the point of listening to him singing this beautiful piece of music, just doesn't gets there anymore. No hate for the man at all and I still enjoy going to Dream Theater shows, but getting a glimpse of how it would sound with another singer, and not just ANY, but Devin, it feels like a joke, skill-wise. This is a cool view of the whole thing, great video!

He literally blew his voice out during this tour. You can hear it towards the final tour dates. I saw them in Philly so it was still the first half, but you could tell he was struggling with some songs. I have no idea why they played Caught in a Web/Grand Finale/Pull Me Under in their original tuning. That's insane to expect James to sing that night in and night out. And he blew out his voice by the end of the tour. Hopefully some good rest and work with a vocal coach will get him right as rain for the tour with Portnoy. And I hope they are more careful constructing the setlists in the future.
