Dream Theater is easily my favourite band. Specially with Mike Portnoy's return, they have this rekindled energy in the band. Can't wait for this new release. Albums Worth checking out from Dream Theater Images And Words, Awake, Scenes From A Memory, Train Of Thought, Octavarium, Systematic Chaos, Black Clouds And Silver Linings, A Dramatic Turn Of Events, A View From The Top Of The World. When Dream And Day Unite was their first album with a different vocalist, the late Charlie Dominici, the mix isn't amazing but the playing is absolutely fire. Falling Into Infinity has some really cool songs as well like New Millennium , Lines In The Sand, Hells Kitchen, and Trial Of Tears.

Man, you‘ve got a great journey ahead. Listen to something like Train Of Thought from start to finish and you‘ll see what journeys they can take you on. 🥹

Wasn't happy with the first song from the new album. Technically brilliant. As usual. Same old phrases. As usual. JP going lightspeed. As usual. PR with his bloody mary-go-round-sound X-[. As usual. MP with a display of all his standard phrases. As usual. *yawn* This one here, bitingly dissonant, odd to a degree, PR with some new sounds, even. Okay, still DT, even with no ears. But none the less... Refreshing.
