Actually, they changed the lyrics a few times in a good way! In Bang Bang Bang, they changed it from "the dignity of men, the pretense of women" to "the dignity of women, the pretense of men" And instead of "guys on top, girls get low" they said "girls on top, guys get low". Dami and Yoohyeon sang "Peppermint Chocolate" and they said "a girl like me, a girl like you" instead of "a girl like me, a guy like you". I really can't love them more❤️

They honestly deserve awards as producers of the year. They really do not get enough credit. Usually producers are involved in some of the songs on the album or they are included as part of the song with another outside producer(s). But leez and ollounder are literally the only ones working on every single song and it's just them, no one else. Given that fact, they were able to produce a song like You and I, and effortlessly produce something like Jazz Bar. Their ability to make such a diversity of songs is seriously something that needs to be commended.

Vortex It made me so happy to see you mention ATEEZ! I’ve never liked girl groups just because of the either sexy or cutesy concepts they always seem to have, but Dreamcatcher really caught my eye. The music is usually the first thing that attracts me to a group (I don’t stan many, just BTS and ATEEZ) and Dreamcatcher’s is great. I was most impressed by the choreographies and concepts, though! They almost seem like they’re doing boy group style choreos, not just twirling and winking at cameras (if you know what I mean-I know that there are some very talented female dancers in the industry), and they have the kind of storyline/theme that I always seem to get hooked on. Lastly, the group dynamic often ends up being the deciding factor when I’m checking out a group to see if maybe I’ll stan them (I’m obsessed with trios, so I’m still looking for a third group 😂), and I love these girls! They’re the only girl group I’ve ever seen that actually feels really close, and I really think I might stan. I definitely love and support them and PLEASE if they’re releasing any new music anytime soon, let me know!

Far too many people have this misconception that girl groups are all "girly and cutesy", as you put it. The reality, however, is that there are a ton of girl groups out that that don't fit that description. (G)I-dle, CLC and Everglow are anything but 'Cute and girly'. While Red Velvet does have their 'Red side', their fun and colorful summer bops, but they also have their 'Velvet' side which is heavily R&B inspired and is very mature. Mamamoo is all over the board, from jazzy to R&B to even some hip hop. Even Loona, who does have some super cute and hyper girly songs / MV's, also has some really good not-so-cute, not very girly songs and MV's as well. I've seen several reacters on KZbin that claimed to stan only boy groups but they've decided to try out some girl groups. All of the ones I've watched have had similar reactions, along the lines of "Wow! These are really good. What have I been sleeping on". The point is, people need to stop falling for the stereotype that kpop girl groups are limited to cute and girly concepts. I'm glad Dreamcatcher opened your eyes and I hope you're enjoying you're exploration into girl group music.

You’re absolutely right! Although not so big or popular, they have literally been changing kpop scenery, especially for gg! Nowadays there are more gg trying horror concepts, unfortunately they are usually criticized because of Korean standards for ggs, that they should look cute and lovely, take for example Nature’s last comeback, Girls, their MV had creepy scenes, so MNET decided to put them out, which is totally stupid because other especially bg can get away with it, like VIXX for example, so there’s definitely a double standard going on. But DC has been breaking these standards! And improving this situation for gg! For example, there are even more gg manifesting and trying new concepts, LOONAS Heejin for example, recently in an interview she said that she wants to try as much concepts as possible, and not only do cute concepts, she wants WOMEN to be able to show their entire skills and not be stuck with those common concepts, show that women can also do hard choreos and try hard-hitting concepts! But DC is being a pioneer in this! I’m saying this now, DC might not be the most famous right now, but they are everyday getting new fans and slowly getting bigger! We ARE getting this win no matter what! And DC will be achieve all their dreams! It’s just a matter of time and patience! 😊

These girls are talented monsters. Unlike some other groups, I can feel the love and time put in their songs and mvs. I can tell that they're actually having fun. They feel so real. I don't feel like they're suffering or overworking. I don't feel like they're being controlled or harassed by their companies. And when they interact with their fans, it feels so homely, warm and familiar, like you've known them forever. Their self made mvs further confirms how friendly they are towards their fans. They're so fun to watch too! Even the vlogs and vlives they post from time to time shows that they have time to breathe between their schedules. Meanwhile many of those are doing the overwhelming trend girl crush style, repetitive lyrics, "badass" english lyrics, revealing outfits, MVs are flashy nothing much on the storytelling it's not that memorable to be honest, all doing the same will look the same to me. I've been a fan since Good Night, and definitely the last 1-1.5 years I've been noticing a big shift for girl groups. Not all, but a lot of groups are pushing more intense, dark concepts. I've been seeing more rock elements used in songs as well. I feel like Dreamcatcher really were trendsetters in that regard, while they may not receive credit, they were definitely the only one pushing that consistently from debut until now (while doing something new in all their title tracks, with their distinct sound and concepts)

I actually got two friends into dreamcatcher recently. One of my friends just got into kpop but only liked blackpink. Since I knew he like horror(the sort of vibes that dreamcatcher’a MVs give off) and the rock-ish sound, I recommended them to him. The first thing he said to me after I sent him a couple of links were “only 2 million views for this song?” He thought they were extremely underrated. Another friend said “dreamcatcher is ok.” I know her well and I know she would like dreamcatcher, so I urged her to listen to more. She’s now obsessed with Tension, Full Moon, Goodnight, and Red Sun. Dreamcatcher is definitely underrated. Like you said, all of them are extremely talented. When Dami sang in Jazz Bar, I had no idea it was her. I didn’t even know she could sing that well. Hadong’s “oh now, holding this pain” is iconic and you can’t tell me otherwise. Their debut was so strong. Chase Me and Deja Vu was what got me into dreamcatcher. It pains me to know that Dreamcatcher is so underrated, but they’re gaining popularity after Deja Vu and Scream :)

Hopefully they’ll grow more with each comeback and gain a bigger fanbase because honestly, they deserve it. DC is still pretty underrated and not a lot of Koreans (which is their main market) know about them.

Theyre really underrated queens. They are experementative when it comes to their song and genre. (recommend u to check out their First Full Length Album: Dystopia, tree of language) each song has different sound/genre. Plus theyre multitalented, they can rap, sing and dance. They keep on improving every comeback, so its your lost if youll always keep on sleeping to these queens.

I honestly love how their main genre is pop/rock with heavy beats, beautiful MVs and synchronized choreography and then you listen to their discography and you find so many other styles, I think it's my favorite discography alongside Mamamoo and Red Velvet. It has variety but you also always have that Dreamcatcher's sound. And their KZbin channel is GOLD honestly with all of these special clips, covers and extras. I'm just so glad this was a successful redebut, otherwise we would have missed one of the very best idol groups.

I'm glad I found this video, I always wondered what happened to Minx, I really dug them. I saw Dreamcatcher right at the start and I was impressed, and, now, further down the road, disappointed that they don't have a bigger following. I'm a Buddy since GFriends debut and I think Dreamcatcher suffers from the same "problem" GFriend does...their music is more towards the high end of the musical spectrum, more developed than most Kpop, therefore it has less appeal to the masses in general, like the difference between pop music and classical. Anyhow, as a musician of 69 years of age, that's what I think.

It's funny to me because, I met them in 2017 but I didn't like their music, like, I checked out Chase me, Good Night and Fly High and it really wasn't my cup of tea, just because I didn't like rock and that stuff. Then when they released Deja Vu I was so impressive and I stanned them since that moment. Now watch me, they're my favorite gg ever. They're such a unique group, I really hope that people wake up and give Dreamcatcher a chance. To this day, I feel so stupid because I had the chance to stan them before but I just ignored them, God, what I was missing. But yes, the same thing happened to me with Stray Kids, and now they're my whole life, so I guess it was necessary to happen ahsaja Anyways, Stan Dreamcatcher.

i became a kpop stan in 2019 but when i found out about dreamcatcher their music was just different in a good way. u wouldn't really expect this kinda sound from a kpop girl group cuz its so different but after watching this video i realized that dreamcatcher does this kinda music so effortlessly and its so satisfying to watch. i hope they make it big in the future cuz their music is so amazing and they have potential to make it really really big with their music.
