"Maison" is part 1 of the Apocalypse trilogy. Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house" or rather "home", and they are singing about everyone's home, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert"). People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!" Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. Although the more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear. I especially like how the pre-chorus and chorus seems to appear out of nowhere, the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. The bass line is crazy as well. LEEZ and Ollounder (their producers) have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. Respect!

dreamcatcher \:D/ the apocalypse trilogy highlights mankind's destructive nature and as you mentioned, maison is about environmental destruction. the mv was also done entirely in cgi in order to save on set waste. their main rapper is dami. if you hear enough of their songs, you will notice she changes her rap style in almost every song. speaking of la, seems it got a facelift after the apocalypse 😂 don't worry after you finish the apocalypse trilogy, there are a ton of their songs that have special clip videos. many of their b-sides are arguably better than their title tracks as they branch into every genre of music. they should also have a comeback in about 3 weeks.
