Despite having Thrawn cornered, Ezra had to maroon himself on a distant planet just to remove him from the equation, cuz he was too hard to kill. And the Empire is practically willing to just give him the throne to lead them back to glory, even tho they hate aliens.

It's actually not random for C-3P0 to show up. Leia personally worked with Ahsoka and the Ghost Crew(Kanan, Ezra, Zeb, Sabine, Hera, Chopper) and helped build the Rebellion. So she and Hera and friends.

Thrawn probably reacted like that after hearing about Anakin being her master because he knew him in the clone wars and latter when he was Vader. He went on a mission with Anakin back in the clone wars and they grew a mutual respect for each others skill sets. Then later Thrawn went on a mission to the same place with Vader, he figured out Anakin and Vader were the same person and carefully teased Vader into letting him know he suspected his true identity

"they're probably fishing for a second season" From what I've heard, Dave Filoni (the main showrunner on this series, the director of Clone Wars and Rebels, and one of the 2 producers and many directors on the Mandalorian series) has a movie that he's gonna be making in the near future. So this series is likely leading up to that movie, but we'll just have to wait and see where this final episode goes. Considering that Ahsoka is one of his original characters, I'm sure he'd love to have a second season of this series with her. Edit: spelling is hard LMFAO

As far as Baylon, there's something calling to him through the Force to Peridia. He's been sensing it since we first met him in Ep. 1, probably before that because Baylon, to me, possess Force Precognition or whatever the official term is in Star Wars. There's a few Jedi who have this gift to foresee events through the Force. And given his connection to the Force, once he made it to Thrawn, that thing he foresaw he can now sense more deeply. Cause every time he pauses with that deep look on his face, it's like he's listening to something calling out to him but can't quite make it out. There's a good bit of theories floating out to what or who's calling to him and a lot of people are saying it's the entity called Abeloth.

Morgan Elsbeth is a descendant of the Dathomir Night Sisters. The ones from Dathomir were wiped out by Count Dook-you and Asthamtic Rochbot Grievous. But now we're learning that the true originals were from a whole nutter galaxy and shii.

Sabine not telling Ezra what she did to get to him is dumb. And I keep seeing people saying it's because Sabine undid the sacrifice Ezra made and it would be hard to bring that up but that's not true. Just removing Thrawn out of the known galaxy is what probably led to the successes in the Original Trilogy. Cause I guarantee if Thrawn stayed in play, Luke wasn't making it off Tatooine in a New Hope. Hell, things would've went different in Andor. The Rebellion would've been squashed before it could even gain traction. She should've told him and be done with it so they can plan the next move. I'm just hoping Ahsoka does it in the next episode. To which case, that's gonna cause some tension between Sabine and Ezra but that's on Sabine.

Roshi, the terrain was VASTLY different in their first fight. It was more closed with the cliff edge and obstacles. She was trained by Anakin, so she would recognize that the terrain favored Baylan with his lightsaber style over her using a two-lightsaber style. She also learned some lessons about fighting a powerful single saber in the Clone Wars and in Rebels. Her two-handed style is a hybrid of other styles. It is her preferred style, but she was trained again by Anakin and two weapons was not always the style she used. In this fight, they are out in the open. No cliff, no pillars and boulders in the way. So her two-weapon style gives her an edge with the freedom of movement. It also will put Baylan a little off balance. Because even with the greater space and two sabers, she pushes into Baylan's reach not allowing him to get his full powerful swings in. Because once again Ahsoka was trained by Anakin and she is one of the best with a lightsaber and that is because she is unpredictable, mixing styles and forms. She is not a one-trick pony where she can only fight a single way. Despite all this Baylan is no slouch and Ahsoka did not have the time and Baylan obviously has other motives. Especially with him releasing Shin. I think he truly believed in Shin and he recognized that her desires were not his own. They are not Sith and Shin is young with her own ideas of power and control. Baylan told her that kind of power is fleeting, but for the young, it is there for the taking. What he seeks he knows may leave him stranded there.

Ahsoka had lived her life only fighting blaster wielders, that’s why when she fought saber users she was only ever using her single blade, cause to her she’s a group slaughterer, rather than a duelist. She rather tried to emulate those duelists who she looked up too, obi wan, anakin, hell even plo koon. Instead of using her own style she thought using theirs would be the better choice, that was anakins lesson, not to emulate but to innovate and live by her own outlook and experience. Also Ezra has always been like that, he met maul and joked about a sigh holocron, he’s a menace and him and chopper would be the basis for a Geneva convention in star wars

Senator Hamato Xiono (father of Kazuda "Kaz" Xiono) is incredibly ignorant 🙄😒, perhaps the Hosnian Massacre (the destruction of the entire Hosnian System including his homeworld of Hosnian Prime, because of the First Order's Starkiller Base), that he and the rest of his family thankfully were off world during, finally opened his eyes, maybe Thrawn's return will have a similar but smaller effect 🤔😓.

Someone like Thrawn probably won't share his full plan with his "allies" because he sees them as pawns who can turn on him or disappoint. He keeps everyone on a need to know basis. I think that Baylan Skoll is the same way, we don't know his plan but he has one. He didn't even share it with his protégée because she has her own ambitions, I guess he wants to be the first to find whatever he's looking for. Baylan used Thrawn, and vice-versa. By not going after Sabine and Ezra, Baylan's raising suspicion. He should have thought of an exit plan. Once Thrawn gets a whiff of what he's looking for, he might come after him.

I love how they portray the New Republic. Everyone is ignoring a rising fascist threat while attacking those trying to do something about it, accusing them of being "disruptive." It's a metaphor for what's going on with a lot of modern democracies. Dang, but Sheera is so observant and plotting to savvy. When is she going to study screenwriting? I love that Thrawn tells those pilots not to risk themselves following the heroes into that debris field. He is so unlike Darth Vader. Ezra was a snotty teenager when he went to another galaxy with Thrawn. He's been without a lightsaber his whole adult life. Baylan is seeking a great power, something even the witches are afraid of. There's a lot of speculation about what.

to be honest that court scene at the start of episode 7 was really dumb when the council asked for proof Hera could of just gave them the captain logs and the scanning reports which has so much information to backup her claim but nope she just insults the council and pretty much says you have to take my word for it

It's amazing that some planets were unaffected by the war? First of all, there's are huge portions of the galaxy that are not included when characters in-universe say "the galaxy," such as the Unknown Region where Thrawn is from. People in other parts of the galaxy have their own problems. Second, the events of this episode are taking place in another galaxy entirely. Sorry if that wasn't clear. In the finale of Rebels, Ezra convinced the space whales to take him, Thrawn, and that whole star destroyer to another galaxy. If you didn't watch Rebels, you may have missed that detail in the early part of this season. This is why it was so difficult for everyone to get to this planet. This planet is in another galaxy, and this is where the witches originally came from.
