i always found it entertaining that Greg and Chris were obviously the ones trying really hard to be the centre of attention, yet Jesse is the one that everyone fell in love with and became quite successful afterwards. the other four also seem to enjoy the dancing, yet Jesse is kinda mechanical about it, prefers the freedom of just singing his solos casually.

It’s not that they were trying to be the center of attention, it’s what they were directed to do as per the choreography. There’s a video on here of them going through a sound check and rehearsal, and from the directions being given, you can see the manager and choreographer clearly had Chris and Greg as their favorites.

@@punkyagogo actually Chris was supposed to be the front man but once jesses voice started to mature it became painfully obvious that he was the best vocalist out of the group by a mile and he has the looks to go with it and the managers began pushing him instead.... Chris bullied the hell out of him because of it also is why after the group broke up none of the members had anything to do with Chris even though the rest of them stayed in contact because he bullied them all and was extremely egotistical

defpickles98 They could’ve had a solid career if their producers released them to the Disney Channel. The guys knew Christy Romano from their Broadway years. Disney was experimenting her, Hilary Duff, and Raven as actors and singers. If they had a boy band to round out the talent, the next teen pop generation would’ve been them. They ended up signing Jesse McCartney. Greg even did some work with them.
