This is the best football podcast to me. Well-defended, measured opinions and a chill vibe

agree completely that the overall amount of games in different competitions is hurting the overall product, including the amount of injuries effecting players especially at the top level (players playing in europe, their domestic leagues then going on international duty to play in important cups/qualifiers). its too much even considering the money paid to these games. the off season is much shorter compared to the nfl or nba. but its all about money at the end of day

Pep explained in his post match interview, Stones not fit to start, Dias, Ake injured if they were Khusanov wouldn’t have started. Trust in Pep he’s won a couple of things before you know

Michael Oliver's decision on Lewis-Skelly was absolutely outrageous. This guy has a mass body of evidence that he has at the very best an unconscious bias against Arsenal and for Man City (who he does part time work for). Good on you guys calling it a poor decision and not going Sky's gaslighting route.

PGMOL would rather not embarrassed each other, than bringing the game into disrespute.
the decision by VAR to not have Oliver look at the replay is criminal. if PGMOL really want to protect its referees they need to be given a chance to correct their mistakes in the moment.

United problems are lack of players with close control & carrying ability.. need a win back & an upgrade on Lw to help with a player with passing & vision rather than pure pace

The challenge looked really innocuous. Must have been for denying a goal scoring opportunity... even that I disagree with but has to be that

Arsenal always need the perfect squad to win something. Liverpool didn’t get the no.6 they wanted in the summer but they didn’t make excuses they just put Gravenberch in their and he’s been the best midfielder in the PL this season. Why do always Arsenal get excuses around the striker position? No club has the perfect squad yet they don’t cry about it like Arsenal do.

You need a perfect team to win the EPL these days, meaning no passengers. All the past winners over 15 yrs have been “perfect teams” including Liverpool
