I currently have a save file where I'm in the middle of fighting Scotia in her "executioner" form using cheats (using a trainer) such as 4 Westwood sticks (yes, Bacatta occasionally deals 2000 damage!), and equipping Ak'shel and Paulson with Zephyr rings so that they can attack more quickly. I scored loads of hits (didn't count them) and am still getting nowhere fast. If her hit points are not infinite, the game could be using a 32-bit integer, and if the Westwood stick does 1000 damage, that would mean you need to hit her over 2 million times! (4 million if it's unsigned). It could also be that if her hit points run out, she simply regenerates, as I believe when the first 2 forms run out of hit points is when she changes form. I'm pretty sure I'm hearing sounds that are otherwise only heard when a creature dies when using the Westwood stick against her third form.

Thanks for all your comments! I read them all in the notifications sent to me via e-mail - honestly I was surprised to see anyone commenting on my videos at all. Sorry if I mixed up some of the key / lock / inaccessible item trivia at one point or another in my LoL1 livestream. I will take your word for it that most of your corrections are correct - and if they aren't, then someone else may come along eventually some year and reply to them with the correct corrections. You have an interest comment about the dying sound for this video. The thing is, she has to have at least a few hundred hit points even if she does die and regenerate because fighting experience is gained based on damage dealt (capped at the enemy's remaining HP), and the fact that fighting experience goes up so fast against Scotia shows that most (if not all) of that 1000 damage must really be under her HP. I haven't been thinking about Lands of Lore in the past month or so. I need to get back to my barely-started LoL2 livestream when I do. I just checked your channel to see if you have your own LoL videos, and I see you just posted one about a day ago. I guess it was good timing that I was lazy and didn't log into KZbin when you made your first few comments on my videos. ;P Since your video doesn't look too long, I'll go watch it now.

Dreamwalker I suppose my comment was slightly ambiguous; I sometimes hear a strange sound when killing monsters when playing. I think some sounds (such as the bing/ding sound heard when you pick up an item) are done by synthesis: you've probably noticed that the game in my video sounds different how it does in your playthrough. How those sounds (and the music) sound depends on how you've set up the game and your synthesiser. I use General MIDI instead of Sound Blaster for music and sounds effects, and used VirutalMIDISynth with a SoundFont designed to sound like a Sound Blaster AWE32. General MIDI is supposed to sound much better than the FM music you use in your playthrough (and also most people use FM because they don't know better). If you're playing the DOS version of LOL 2 and are not using General MIDI (mpu-401), you may want to set the game to use that instead; you may be surprised at how much better it sounds. But anyway, on my setup, I sometimes hear a strange sound when a monster is killed, and I sometimes hear that sound when I attack Scotia with the Westwood stick. I haven't paid that much attention to it; it's just something I noticed, so I could be mistaken about it only happening when a monster is killed (but I think it does), but it certainly happens when a monster is hit at least.
