I think one of the nice things with minion blast is it can eat people. So often the front of the park would get packed because of the 2 rides across from each other and both being shows that would get long lines between filling the theaters. This being a constant moving ride will hopefully reduce crowding once the newness wears off

I am so happy that there is a unified theme this year. My favorite was when Walking Dead was the overall theme with the shows theme music. I love that there is the Discover Universal podcast episode that tells the story of Oddfellow and the vampire cult and Jack from the destroyed circus.

I made a quick trip this pass weekend just to get to do Minion Blast and Minion land. I loved it. I didn't get to try the banana drink, I have to do that next time. But I was blown away that Butter Beer had done up to 9 dollars and something. I ate the kids spaghetti and meatballs and tots and it was so good. I couldn't eat all of it, it was so much. My dad had the salad and it will so feed two people. I did get the swiss roll and YES eating the roll and banana together was a must. I did however hate mobile order and then have to wait in the long line to get in after ordering and then waiting again so long for my order. But we got the breakroom and it was so much fun and ended up a good break from the heat.

They've cleared a large area between the future Troller Coaster and Backlot Drive, which I would assume would be for Troll meet-n-greets and more theming since there's not a whole lotta room between the coaster and the Kung Fu Panda area. This way they can keep the same walkway that was used to hit all three areas before.

What works about the mummy even tho it’s an old film even if you haven’t seen the movie you love the ride. My problem with the new kids zone land it seems they are not making a memorable experience so it will become irrelevant quicker. I wish they would have done one big ride that no matter if you have seen the film or not it can become a classic. 😊

Dreamworks/kidzone area is designed for the youngest as a playground to run around and meet characters. It doesn't need a major E-ticket ride.

Yea that’s kind of why I wish it was one franchise for a fully immersive land and add rides that everyone could ride. I envisioned Shrek split between swamp and Far Far Away with meet and greets and playground still, coaster rethemed to dragon, then a dark ride or two. Maybe a Puss in Boots dark ride in Far Far Away and a swamp boat ride for Shrek in the swamp.

Part of me wishes they would have demolish all of it and build the secret life of pets dark ride. I feel all the attractions there would be sort of a cheap retheme. Instead of investing in something timeless. That’s how I feel about minion land. Super cute but I wish it would have been demolished and make that whole section a new ride

I know this is an older video, but in reference to SHREK being seen as an older Dreamworks movie that shouldn't be included in the land; Many children's theater groups are performing Shrek the Musical, which still keeps it relevant for younger kids. It's honestly one of my favorite shows to watch come to life too, plus all the fart jokes are always going to be entertaining for kids.

A Universal Summer event that can test properties for future rides or lands would be great. Basically bring the Universal Cool Japan formula to the other Universal parks and have them take rides and shows like Jimmy Fallon, Jason Bourne, and maybe even roller coasters like the mummy and have them rethemed as another property outside of the Universal library and possibly movies themselves. You can create limited time rides based on video games and anime (again like Cool Japan)

Since the new land did not replace all of KidZone, DreamWorks will have its entrance just to the left of ET... so there will be an arch to enter DreamWorks on left and a new arch to enter a new small ET courtyard on the right, like a fork in the road.
