I got one of these last summer, and it has been great. The only downside is that the replacement tips for the soldering iron can be difficult to find. They are available on Amazon right now, but not at all times. I discovered that the tips for the powerprobe butane torch work on it. I think it is the same soldering iron under a different brand name.

Thanks for review. How do you adjust the appropriate temperature for soldering electronics?

there is a knob to control how high the flame is. Not sure if its gonna control how high the temp is by much.

This isnt really for that detailed kinda work. It really only has like 3 temps. Really hot, like a little less hot. And cold cause its off.
