I've been watching you build your camper. I want to know how well it does in the cold. Because I live in the great state of Montana in the Northeast corner and it gets 40 below. Sometimes 50, so let me know because I am gonna build me a small camper. Just like what you did. You inspired me to do something 60 years old. And normally I would just crawl in the back of my suburban during the summer when I go to Washington State but I'm getting in that back. The door is kinda hard with your bad hip. So I need a little camper so I can take on road trips so I can sleep in

It’s amazing what you can do when you set your mind to it! Good luck with your camper build. The only issue i have I discuss at the end of the video.

That little wood stove is the cutest thing. I ran a fireplace shop for 40 years so maybe a little biased.

It really does make a big difference, especially in that kind of weather.

You must be around Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Huntsville area. Still green in York Region. I hope we get some snow before Christmas for the kids. If Matts head of the carpenters union it must be trim carpenters, framers couldn't care what the place looks like LOL.

Best thing you can do when in deep snow is air your tires down. They flatten out significantly increasing your traction. Try around 15psi. Of course you need a portable compressor to air back up when you hit the pavement.

That’s a good idea for the next time!

I think you can get pipe with heat trace to keep it from freezing. Not sure about the electrical load on it though.
@DrenalinAdventures18 сағат бұрын
I’ll look into it.

A trick you might want to try, use 25% of those briquettes with the wood in the chimney. It'll save briquettes and burn just as well.

Hi, do you think maybe heat tape would work on your frozen pipe or is heat tape for outdoors only?
@DrenalinAdventures8 күн бұрын
It might. I’ve considered it.

I would've chained the front tires first, cuz both weight and steering.

Your truck has clearance, but your trailer doesn't, and that creates a significant drag on the truck.

From what I can see ONX does not give a lot of info for those of us that stay home in Ontario.
@DrenalinAdventures8 күн бұрын
Yes, unfortunately onX is mainly for my US viewers. They're working on expanding into Canada.
