In Brazil, we have a thing called "swiss lemonades". They use the whole lime/lemon in the blender, so you get the zest in the drink. 7 years ago after having pneumonia I started a daily regimen that goes like this: Inside my nutribullet: 1 lemon or lime (must be fresh and shiny) honey, turmeric, pepper, ginger. blend it until pulverized. Strain it. Drink it. : ) I haven't had a cold or flu in nearly 6 years. I am totally addicted to it. First thing in the morning. EVERYDAY.

Thanks to you I got rid of kidney stones two years ago using lemon juice. I continued to take it every day since. I've noticed a few things. I've gotten rid of of the swollen gut. Previously my gums would bleed when brushing teeth, not anymore. My eyesight has improved. I was worried about it as I'm over 50 and work as an artist (painter). In combination with a mild version of the Keto diet and intermittent fasting, the weight has slowly but definitely come off. I suspect I've been ill for a long time without realizing it and am feeling a lot better in general. If you return to Italy get in contact, I'm in Florence and like to cook. It would be a pleasure to have you and your missus as guests. You will also be very welcome to choose from the selection of paintings as a gift because you deserve thanks. I look forward to trying out this version of the lemon formula.

Great video, as always, Dr. Berg! Since you mentioned scurvy, here's a fun fact: The English were great sea explorers and many of their sailors - like those of other countries - suffered from scurvy and many died from it. Through trial and error many different remedies, everything from vinegar to sea water, were tried and discarded. In the mid 1700s a Dr. Lind conducted one of the first clinical trials ever. It wasn't called that at the time, of course. It was done on 12 sailors afflicted with scurvy. Six sets of two sailors were given different items to ingest. Two were given lemons and oranges and showed improvement very quickly. It took a while (several years) for word to get around but sailors were eventually required to ingest citrus fruit to prevent scurvy and it worked. The English also experimented with limes which is where the term "limey" comes from.

Some voyages used apples, which dry easily, so can store longer. Cross-over names for produce STILL happen….some in Ohio, call bell peppers, “mangos” for instance…no clue how THAT ever happened, but, there it is!

I have been drinking organic fresh lemon juice with warm water morning and evening for more than a year. But this approach is more powerful, so I'll definitely start with it, my friend. I watch your videos for months, extraordinary work indeed, very precise and with lots of back stage information that's hard to find anywhere else, and on top of that being presented with a solution, or more. The kito diet has been approached slowly, but still couldnt manage to avoid a slice of rye bread when im starving, in the afternoon, but will get there. As I used to eat a lot of cakes and sugar, even eating healthy and vegetarian, I'm into detoxifying my liver and give a rest to the gallbladder, with the help of your videos. So thank you so so much for your work, it's priceless, glad you have so many views, that means a load of people are listening to your advice...we need it! See you later (On my phone😊)

I suffered from H-Pylori for years, and the doctors kept telling me I had heartburn and sent me home with over the counter medication. It wasn’t until about the 30th doctor that I saw who tested me for H-Pylori. She prescribed antibiotics, which I took for about two weeks before every meal. One of the worst experiences in my life, but it did kill the H-Pylori bacteria. What the doctor never told me, however, was that all my good bacteria was also going to get killed, which resulted in me getting the flu for the first time in my life. I spent one week in bed, and lost about 10lbs dealing with that. I wished I would have known at the time to be more careful about my diet after taking antibiotics 😢 Dr. Berg, you are an angel in disguise, and I really appreciate your informative videos so much! 😊 🙏🏼

I don't bother with NHS. I see an integrated medical practitioner - that way you have someone with the knowledge of conventional medicine, plus nutritional medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture herbs etc. I was lucky to be a patient of Prof Lewith back in the 2000s - they were treating gut dysbioisis and using probiotics as early as the 1980s. So we do have doctors with this knowledge and advice in the UK. But they are few and far between, and unfortunately not on the NHS. It is not that I can afford it - but I can't afford not to - Sorted out my post viral CFS. Have used lemon juice and garlic for years - it really is a good way to start the day. 3 weeks on and 1 week off. Good health and good nutrition all.

May be you know a bit more precisely how much time vitamins last there or, if you do it that way just to save time because you are always in a hurry and all, then I'd guess it's just fine and much better than eating some of those other fast eatable options...

Dear Dr. Berg, I would like to thank you for the healt advises and caring for your community. I think it is a very good suggestion to add lemons to the daily food intake. I adopted the following procedure: I put two or three lomons into the blender together with blueberries according to taste. Then I add some cream from milk or coconut or almonds. Additionally i add a tea spoon of ground psyllium husks and one table spoon of erythrotol or D Galactose sweetener. After blending I fill it into cups and put them into the refrigerator. The consistency develops to look like ice cream. So I enjoy a daily cup of special ice cream. I feel very comfortable enjoying my daily Dr. Berg cream! I live in Austria and some of my friends already got interested in this special recipy. I believe that eating the preparation is better than drinking because it better mixes with the saliva for better digestion! Psyllium also provides som valuable fibers for the gut. Thank you for commenting my recipy - if your time allows!

Start small, and eventually you can eat a standard size lemon or lime slice whole at one go. Start by small amount of peels only, gradually start eating large amount of peels (one-slice-peel per meal), then eventually you can eat a slice whole. Practice not to make a face while taking the sour and bitter taste like a child does, and you will be fine. Make sure the peel and/or the lemon or lime is fresh, if it is old, it becomes too sour, and the peel gets rubber, even hard. Tastes heavenly after a sweaty time spent under sun. No need to use electricity, blender, dish washing, liquid stevia and most importantly, your time. A habit should be easy and affordable. Though, you can store the juice in the refrigerator; the downside is you will probably add sugar with it. And if you plan to eating a whole lemon in one sitting everyday or frequently, then diluting the acid with water is a must. You may try adding salt and chilli with the lemon water.

Thank you, Dr. Berg, for your straight-forward presentations about preserving and enhancing health. I started blending a whole, organic lemon mixed with purified water, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and a dollop of raw local honey first thing in the morning a couple of weeks ago but stopped due to a resulting stomach discomfort. After reading about how some seeds are difficult to digest, I removed the lemon seeds before blending. Problem solved, no more stomach discomfort, and I am now enjoying the benefits of this morning tonic. I might add here that I use a pendulum to determine whether a food or supplement is good for me or not. When I placed the removed lemon seeds in a pile and then held my pendulum over the seed pile, my pendulum swung with a negative indication. When I hold my pendulum over my morning tonic of whole lemon (minus the seeds), apple cider vinegar, and raw local honey, my pendulum swings with a very vigorous positive indication. I have little doubt that the lemon seeds offer nutrition. I have placed the lemon seeds I have removed into a glass filled with purified water and will give them 24 hours to soak. I'll let you know what my pendulum indicates then. All God's Blessings!

Here in Asia, we don't have access to stevia or frozen berries. Have to drink the lime and just deal with the bitterness. Also make sure to drink it with a wide straw and rinse your mouth with plain water after so your tooth enamel is unharmed from the acidity.

Wow! I did throw the rest of the lemon away. I was always put off by the waxed skin but you can buy unwaxed now. It is good to know the benefits. Thank you Dr Eric.

This is awesome doc!!!!!!! Yesterday I was telling myself I cannot live without lemons and that bioflavonoids available in that shake! I will try it with mint and stevia/monkfruit instead of the blueberries for a change. What a gift! We love you Doc!!!!!!!

Did a lot of checking first and tried your recipe using the frozen blueberries. Quite a refreshing drinki and very drinkable. I did not go for the sweetner drops. I used regular lemons and was wondering if I should use organic lemons.

Dr. Berg I remember when I was little my mom used to give us lemonade made with the whole lemon and sugar; she used to put in the blender and after it was grind enough she used a strainer to get the big parts out and then we drank it. It was delicious with ice or not ice, yes it was a little bittersweet but it was delicious none the less

ok doc. did it for the first time just now. found the taste (whole lemon, 8oz water and stevia) just awfuk, not to mention all of the chunks of lemon peel. have ulcerative colitis for 36 years, so may have to consume this in the early part of the day. but i'm willing to try because you sound and seem so honest. thanks.

If you have chunks of lemon peels in your drink... you have the wrong blender. You need a blender with blades that can turn this into a smooth drink to swallow. This is the first problem for you. I have a Vitamix...top of the line blender.

Another idea to help with the taste - each morning, I have been combining one scoop of Dr. Berg's electrolyte powder with one scoop of his wheatgrass juice powder (both have a touch of lemon flavored stevia in them) every morning for 6 months now. Now I blend this with 1 whole organic lemon. It tastes terrific!!

Can't wait to try this. Been doing keto and it's changed my life. I used to get panic attacks and blood sugar rushes all the time and never had one in 18 months since I turned to keto.

I find adding one scoop of Dr Berg Electrolyte Powder in lieu of Stevia drops has the perfect amount of sweetness for me. I use 12 oz of chilled green tea, 12 oz of ice, 1 Tbs of Apple Cider vinegar and 1 Tbs of MCT Oil. This recipe makes an approx 30 oz slushy you eat with a spoon. Reminds me of the slushy I used to buy at the 7-11 as a kid. I consume this in the morning because I find electrolytes in the evening leads to more calls of nature during the night.

Wow that is amazing. Thank you Dr Eric! What a blessing that God gives us all that around us to heal us. And grateful for the Drs taking the time to show us how to get all the benefit from all vegetables and fruits.
