Thank you for this information for everyone. To share my story briefly about acne, i am now struggling with acne for more than a month now for the first time. I have always had clear skin and usually i only get 1 or 2 pimples before my period but my acne this time didnt even start at that period. And as i invrstigated on this, i theorized that it might have been caused by my chronic stress recently (4 months of heavy duty at a project with overtime. I felt so stressed and acted bipolar over time. So I resigned from my job to heal myself. ) that might have destroyed the good bacteria in my gut microbiome (it wasnt only on my face btw, it was all over my body too. My arms were covered in red bumps. In retrospect, i might have been having an autoimmume response.) So i decided to take some yoghurt, and it honestly worked like a miracle. After eating 1/2 cup of plain yoghurt flavored with some cocoa powder and honey, i noticed my acne didnt feel inflamed anymore. Theyre still there but they dont hurt when you touvh them. So now i eat yoghurt regularly. My acne is still here but not as bad as prior to taking probiotics.

However, the Dermatologist called it Acne and treated it with retinol and it caused her skin to really break out. Went to an other Dr and he took a urine test. There were 8 bacteria in her urine that stomach acid usually kills and you never see it. He said he stomach acid was too low and when he put her on a regimen of HCL and Pepsin her stomach acid killed the bacteria and he acne disappeared.

@KZbin's Funniest HCL refers to hydrochloric acid. The cells lining the submucosa layer of your stomach secrete HCL continuously. This mixes with other fluids in your stomach to make gastric juice. It is very acidic which helps denature proteins and kill bacteria. It also boosts the enzymatic activity.

When I suffered with acne as a teen I was told diet didn''t matter, but don't eat chocolate. Washing your face in vital and if you don't you caused your pimples. Then I found a book 'Acne can be cured" written by a skin doctor. He recommended staying away fro hard fats found in red meats, butter and margarine. Oils that remained liquid at room temperature was fine. That diet helped greatly, and adding brewers yeast led to greater improvement. He got his info from an Italian grand mother who complained instead of eating olive oil with bread her granddaughter used butter and margarine and got a face full of pimples,.
@maysayson18883 жыл бұрын
VIDEO SUMMARY (note-taking; writing this for people who have difficulty focusing on long videos like this) A. Mistakes 1) Scrubbing your face with cleansers. DON'T SCRUB! 2) Antibiotics. It kills off the good bacteria along with the bad ones, creating evil strains for your skin. 3) Accutane. Too many side effects. Risky. TIP: Find out what's really causing the problem B. Sebaceous Glands Situation #1: Extra tissue being formed. A little flake. Dryness. Situation #2: Plugged pores. Situation #3: Inflammation. Situation #4: Unfriendly bacteria feeding off of the oil called sebum Situation #5: Large gland It's very highly sensitive to hormones, specifically Androgens and Estrogen. It's estrogen-related when: 1) During menstruation, it gets worse. The ovaries pumping out too much estrogen. C. Androgen One form: Testosterone Pumping out too much Androgen produces so much sebum and increases the size of the gland. Causes: puberty, PCOS, menopause Common symptoms for PCOS: hair loss (alopecia), acne, deeper voice What causes PCOS? - High levels of insulin (insulin resistance). - Too much of a certain enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT. One major reason for this is: Vitamin A deficiency. TIP: Take Vitamin A in the form of extraversion cod liver oil. Other Vitamins: 1) B5 - works well with Vitamin A; helps reduce acne, another remedy to solve the "certain enzyme" problem 2) Zinc - powerful for getting rid of acne D. Estrogen Causes: Liver dysfunction (not eliminating the bad estrogen), high blood pressure medications, antibiotics, alcohol, heartburn medications, anti-depressants REMEMBER: These situations may not be isolated from each other. You can have insulin resistance that's causing the liver dysfunction. SOLUTION: Start eating healthier! 1) Cruciferous vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, kale, garden cress, bok choy, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, mustard plant and similar green leaf vegetables. 2) DIM, a super concentrated version of cruciferous vegetables. 3) Stinging nettle root, a plant.

Just cutting out dairy is sometimes not enough. Especially if you're consuming sports products or any snack bars or breads/rolls etc - almost all of which has whey protein (from cow milk) or milk solids - even the healthiest smoothies and shakes can cause acne. You might be thinking you're having the healthiest diet but it depends how your body reacts to it. For instance, if you have high insulin or insulin resistance but dont know about it - an innocent morning smoothie with non-dairy milk and fruits can trigger bad acne because of fructose and sugar in that smoothie. So its really important what you put into your body. Or it could be toxicity of the food, or other hormonal imbalances. Also, it took me 3 months to see improvement in my skin after quitting all dairy products, so it's not an overnight thing. it takes long. Same if I eat something with cow milk - i will break out couple of days later. And I'm not milk intolerant and all of the allergy tests were negative, yet still I react on cows milk. Read Lara Briden's blog on milk and how it triggers acne.

I’m an Esthetician and everything this guy is saying is true. We need to fix it internally first. That’s where the problem starts. Topical stuff is great but what goes on inside our bodies def shows on the outside. Plus Accutane is so bad for your body. 👍🏽

But what do you tell your client when she takes vitamins (always have), doesn’t have any hormonal problems, has tried everything with the dermatologist (laser), and every cream from the pharmacy makes it worse to the point I’ve been prescribed to Roaccutane. How do you deal with it in any other way? Sometimes there are not many things left to do. I was really sceptical starting Roaccutane regarding every video, article and study I've read but I simply cannot keep going with every cream doctors suggest me without realising how sensitive my skin is (and I don't have any idea why the creams from the pharmacy not only don't work for me but made me a lot worse)
@alice35484 жыл бұрын
Luna Volin I cut out dairy and limited my sugar and I stuck to products for sensitive skin. I am also of colour and can’t use a lot on my face since a lot of things can burn me. The last thing I needed was to get burned. I have been following two dermatologist on KZbin and they have a lot of great things to say.

@@alice3548 I get it, because I experience the same reaction, and I am happy that it is working for you. The thing is I am vegan, and I don't use sugar for years now. I followed dermatologists I went to a couple, the only thing that has worked for me, that I haven't had a reaction to it, is Paula’s Choice liquid exfoliant. Even though I have super sensitive skin, it worked, and it's the one that I can put without causing me more sensitivity and irritation. My dermatologist, however, told me it's too harsh, and shouldn't use it. She prescribed me a cream from the pharmacy. It made my skin four times worse, and I am not even exaggerating, she was surprised, and she told me to try another one. It didn't make me much worse, but it didn't make me better either, and they both were for sensitive skin. Because I had a second bad experience, I am taking Roaccutane now. Sometimes things don't work, my skin has an irritation to everything from the pharmacy specifically, I started using my Paula’s Choice again, for a while, and it did some damage control, but I can't say after everything I read and everything that I saw that I regret starting the pill, simply because I cannot have a roller coaster experience with my skin for months, while I am seeing a dermatologist and especially when it makes me much worse. It is overwhelming, and all the pills have side effects so you should be careful, but if it gives me a fresh start I am here for it, simply because I cannot keep going to a dermatologist, and come back only worse, because of the products they prescribed me.

Dilute with 2/3 or half whatever your preference water and apple cider vinegar using a pad/cotton ball put on the affected area. You can do this with lemon juice and part water as well. The acids kill the bacteria and clear your skin. If skin sensitive dilute more or do it at night/every other

I am going to relate an issue that might be indicative for some people here. When I was a baby, I had a wheat and dairy allergy, so my allergist helped my dad find me soy formula, at Chicago Dietetic (this was in the late 50's, early 60's). There were NO health food stores, just places like that for diabetics, and folks with allergies. I drank soy formula and then soy milk powder made into milk. (I am an adoptee, so my mom didn't breast feed me.) Soy is highly estrogenic, and now, I've read studies that say giving soy to a youngster is like giving an equivalent of 1/3-1/2 dose of birth control pill (by today's standards). I matured very early for my day (age 9 onset of menses) and had problems all my life with my monthly cycle. I didn't have cystic acne, but the regular acne, again, with scrubbing, antibiotics, sunlamp treatments which my skin doctor gave me. (I had a skin doctor and allergist from young teen through college years.) Now, I am happy to be post-menopausal, but want to tell the moms out there, watch out with soy milk, it is a "good protein" but since the estrogenic effects are so high, it's safer drinking another type of milk, coconut milk, hemp milk, something other than soy. It's just too dangerous, but my generation did not know about the risks, and were the guinea pigs.

That is the problem. You are talking in TODAY's terms, not realizing that I was born in the late 50's. We didn't have those kinds of things back then for the public's consumption. There were NO health food stores back then. I am talking about BACK THEN.

I think Dan C was making the correlation between your wheat and dairy allergy to vaccines. Vaccines can cause a host of autoimmune diseases and allergies. Your parents did what they thought was best for you... you are right, your generation (and mine) were guinea pigs. It's sad... our government and the alphabet agencies pushed things on our parents without knowing any possible long term solutions. I wish that donor breastmilk was always available, and was never stigmatized.... you may have faired better with that.

Hi Will F, I went on accutane about 9 years ago. My acne has just started coming back slowly about 6 months ago. One of the side effects from accutane which seriously affected me was hair loss (very very thin hair) and arthritis (sooo much lower back pain and knee pain). Like you, in my early 20's I didnt have much of choice-which is why my dermatologist recommended accutane. My question to you is, did you suffer any side effects from accutane that were long lasting like me? Also, how many years has it been since accutane? I heard it eventually always comes back even after a decade. Accutane doesn't truly heal anyone of their acne just suppress it. But thanks for sharing about the Keto Diet- I'll def look into it!

combreakdown 1 have you tried taking a probiotic, like Culturelle? I have a friend with cystic acne. She cleaned up her diet, added the probiotic & spirulina & wheat grass. Her skin has improved so much now.
@Anna-zn6zc7 жыл бұрын
Nazneen I have tried but it was soo expensive , I only took one box of probiotics which lasted for 40 days or so, made no difference. Wheat grass juice is great , I drink it whenever I can. I think it helps me feel better and help my digestion, but I probably don't notice an effect for my skin . :)

and for diet: I eat soo clean! I also tried no milk and dairy, no gluten , no omega 6 fatty acids, ate a lot of liver for Vitamin A, no nightshades, vegan, raw vegan , low carb, autoimmune paleo, Ray peet diet, a diet especially for women with pcos. .. . Plus I have considered every supplement and info Dr Berg have where my acne might come from months ago :D Argh I don't know. It is really Hard :D

Acupuncture cleared my hormonal acne within a few months. I had suffered from this acne for years. It was a life saver. Highly recommend a course of treatments with a qualified and registered practitioner

Dr. Berg, boy do I wish I found you earlier. My sons have been struggling with Acne for 12 years. One of my sons has large cysts on his chest and has to have them drained all the time. The minute one is drained another pops up. He is 27. They both go to dermatologists they only prescribe medication. Nothing else. What a disappointment. My oldest couldn't take all the cysts and constant pain associated with them and has recently gone an accetane. I am not happy, I wish I looked into this myself. We put so much TRUST in doctors, only to be disappointed. He is in his second month and I am worried. I am sending him this video.

I really enjoy your science and healthy approach to treating health issues like acne, I had it all through my teen years until I took 2 courses of accutane. It works but the side effects are very unpleasant and dangerous. I really like your alternative treatment to fix our insides and balance hormones😊

grass fed beef liver: highest in A & B5. serve with sauted spinach and red onions.

Michael Is that why you look so good? ;D
@BrendenNichols5 жыл бұрын
@saintquinn007 Agreed. Spinach is a redundant inclusion. All it will create is an oxalate buildup in the body and cause kidney stones. However, I wouldn't be too concerned if you're not consuming it with great regularity. Just be cautious and understand its harm.
@pmiller71485 жыл бұрын
Michael the spinach and onions would defeat the purpose of eating the liver.

The best thing ever: apply black seed oil and after coconut oil day and night and after a month only at night. Be patient. It look oily but the skin gets used to it after one month

This is excellent advice. Please also look into alpha lipoic acid for cleansing the liver. And turmeric. Also omega 3's. I accidentally cured my acne when I moved overseas and began walking to and from work every day and lost weight (had no car) and had no access to soy milk, or soy "meat products" which I'd relied on pretty heavily, and I also consumed way less sugar.

The problem is what you are eating in many cases creating a reaction that goes to your skin. Wheat bread causes allergies too. And so many people don’t know that it and pasta is a no no for some people.Also if you want to clear your sinuses cut out the bread in your diet you should see improvement. I have always hated Cod liver oil. My mom tried to camouflage its taste with an orange slice. I will test it.

Hello, glad that I found this! My 14 year old son has acne under his bangs. I told him to use Tea Tree & change his diet. I do not want his acne to get worse where there is scarring. He has to eat less meat, sugar etc.

The only solution that healed my acne on my cheeks and chin was by cutting out dairy. Surprisingly cutting out dairy regulates my hormone and periods as well. that then I did intermittent fasting and kale juicing that got rid of forehead acne.
@FFri3dd6 жыл бұрын
Erin Guo the exact opposite happend to me I cut out dairy all of a sudden my clear forehead just starts breaking out in small pimples but many of them. I doubt it was the dairy but I really don’t think the things you eat contribute to your acne (excessively)

You should also check your cortisol levels. High cortisol messes up hormones.

What cured my acne was finding out that I was allergic to soy, and cutting it out. Already on a gluten-free and dairy-free diet before and had moderate acne. Additionally, I went on birth control. Finally, I ate healthier by cutting down on sugar and fatty foods like French fries, and replaced them with vegetables. I still get a pimple or two, but my skin is much better these days. Exercise has helped my skin too, especially telling y’all with the hormonal imbalances out there.

Mistakes -scrubbing face with cleansers(removes good oils) -antibiotics(creates stronger strains of bad bacteria) -accutane(synthetic vitamin A, has lots of side effects) Sebaceous gland(right underneath acne) reasons for it could cause acne 1 extra tissue 2 a clogged pore (can cause white heads and blackheads) 3 inflammation 4 unfriendly bacteria feeding off good oil called sebum (waxy oily and lubricates the skin) 5 excess oil or sebum Causes 1 High androgens (male hormone) -High sebum -Bigger sebaceous gland -extra tissue -to high of DHT take vitamin A, B5, Zinc -insulin resistance(can cause fatty liver which leads to excess estrogen too) 2 High Estrogen -Liver dysfunction (can't eliminate bad estrogen)(main cause) Fatty liver Scar tissue in liver Liver inflammation -High Blood Pressure medications(calcium channel blockers) -antibiotics -alcohol -heart burn medications -anti depressants Best foods for liver 1 cruciferous vegetables 2 DIM 25x stronger then cruciferous vegetables(concentrated version of cruciferous) 3 Stinging Nettle root
