Ms Tennessee North, you truly blessed me today. I watched how you allowed your grand baby help with the baking. I’m ashamed of how I would have shooed that child out of my kitchen. You have such patience and gentle yet stern way and I can tell that baby has learned well. It’s all because of you. By the time that child is 10 she will be running rings around most folks three times her age in the kitchen. This child will be cooking and telling folks “ my Nana taught me”. You have taught me a valuable lesson. These babies are so precious and how they going to learn if we don’t teach them. I worry so about things turning out just so. So selfish. Yep you stepped on my toes and I deserved it. Thank you 🥰

We always ate ours with raw onions on top along with a side of corn bread ( I grew up in Cincinnati). And dressing with meat on top...never had it that way, but that looks good too. I am a new scriber, but I put my cornbread and white bread Ina food processor, IL after putting my celery, onion and bell peppers in the processor, I put the butter in and cooked it a little thenput it in over my bread but I used everything else with the exception of the packages I used cream of chicken, cream of celery and cream of mushrooms plus the broth from boil chicken backs. I didn't use garlic powder nor season salt, as you said everyone does things differently. I beat my eggs plus added morer butter. Just using the processor made things a little easier. I basically used my chicken broth Instead of water. It's all good Mrs.North and so are you.Great to the greatest!!!!❤❤❤

Very good recipe and video, Tennessee. Honestly, I haven’t seen water and dry onion soup used. Your recipe is the closest to my Mom ‘s recipe ( that brings back good memories). She used boiled eggs in hers. You’re right, back in the day no can soup or store broth. Recipe thru the years have been tweaked. But, you keep trying to capture that goodness of childhood.
