I work with a guy from Ghana, he is honestly one of the kindest people I know. First time I met him, I felt like I had known him my whole life. He is just a kind soul and all around amazing person. I know a few Ghanans here in Texas. They'll roast a whole goat when they move into a new house. They expect gifts if you attend the feast. I find they like books and seed packets. They like winter crops like collards and Swiss chard.

I just wonder if anyone can answer me this question: how can people afford for example those baked bananas for 3 dollars if the average salary per month in Ghana is 180 dollars? I cant get that since that would translate to around 50 dollars in Europe (with the average salary of around 2500 dollars a month)

I was in Ghana last year. Loved the Northern region. I felt a connection to the land which was almost spiritual. After doing DNA test I realized that my ancestors would have traveled through that region on their way to being sent to America. So it was interesting that everything within me would feel like I was connected. Also, the Volta Region was one of my favorite.

I have a question. In this video they say you can’t eat plantain without cooking it. I have had it uncooked and it was so delicious but when it was fried it was soooooooo sweet so do you really need to cook it?

As a white person I feel I will be robbed everyday in Ghana. Especially walking at 1:00 at 2:00 a.m. why is it you never see white people, in the Ghana videos? If they're there I think they're working as bankers in tall Office buildings.
