Thanks for sticking with PT. They are one of the best bands in history. Steven Wilson is a freak about the video aspect of his concerts. They always hired killer videographers to record Porcupine Tree's live concerts. He and the drummer, Gavin Harrison, are also freaks about 5.1 surround sound. My point is that you should use the live versions whenever possible with PT of SW's solo band. I have a killer live playlist on my little channel which you are welcome to peruse. PT/Steve Wilson music is more about the head than the heart and it touches on subjects that are not exactly cheery. A whole album on a woman found dead in her London flat(Hand cannot erase) is not to everyone's taste but who the hell else is tackling subjects like that!
